Chris: Who is it?
Andrea: It’s me!
Chris opened the door quickly and swept Andrea off of her feet!
Chris: Hey Baby!
Andrea: Hey yourself! Did you miss me?
Chris: More than I can even explain! The tour was way to long this time!
Andrea: Tell me about it! I started missing you the minute you left my apartment and I haven’t stopped missing you until now!
Chris leans down and begins to kiss Andrea. Just as he does this, the phone begins to ring.
Andrea: Chris, shouldn’t you get that?
Chris: And stop kissing you? I don’t think so my machine will get it.
Answering Machine: I am not able to take your call right now so leave a message... BEEP...
Girl: Chris where are you? I know you just got home! Don’t tell me you are with her. She is so not worth your time! Anyway get back to me when you want to be with a real women! Love ya!
Andrea: Chris who the hell was that?
Chris: Probably just some crazed fan! You know they have called here before!
Andrea: I know I am probably just being stupid! I should trust you! I’m sorry I just hate the thought of losing you!
Chris: You don’t have to worry about that! You are my girl and I Love You!
Andrea was still bothered by the phone call but she knew that Chris was probably right! It was just some crazed fan; Chris would never cheat on her. Andrea slipped into one of Chris’ T-shirts and jumped into bed. Chris knew that she was still worried so he put his arms around her, and softly began to sing Drive Myself Crazy. Andrea fell asleep to the soothing sound of his voice.
By the morning Andrea had forgotten all about the phone call the night before, she was just happy to finally be alone with Chris. When she got out of bed she found that Chris was nowhere to be found.
Andrea: Chris?... Hello?... Chris where are you?
She got no response so she figured that she was alone. She walked out to the kitchen and saw a piece of paper sitting on the table. Chris must have left her a note she thought. She picked up the paper and it read
Baby:
Good morning! Sorry I am not here I had to go to the studio this morning to record one more song! I hope I am not too long! I left you something special on the stove! I LOVE YOU!

Andrea was a little upset with the fact that she wouldn’t be able to see Chris most of the day but she knew that he would be coming home to her!
At about 2:30 the phone rang and Andrea ran to answer it.
Andrea: Hello?
Chris: Hey Baby I just wanted to let you know that I am on my way home now!
Andrea: Good because I missed you terribly!
Chris: Really how bad did you miss me?
Andrea: Believe me you will be greatly rewarded when you get home!
Chris: Really? I can’t wait! I swear I am leaving right now! Bye!
Andrea: Okay I’ll see you soon! I LOVE YOU!
But before she was able to finish saying you Chris had hung up the phone! Andrea though that it was a little weird but she let it go, because he said he was in a rush to get home. Andrea hung up the phone and it instantly started ringing.
Andrea: Hello?
Girl: Who is this?
Andrea: I should be asking you that!
Girl: Well let’s just say that Chris and I were really close on his last tour!
Andrea: And...
Girl: And he didn’t return my call from last night and I was wondering why. But I guess I know why now!
Andrea: What is that supposed to mean?
Girl: Well you are his girlfriend right?
Andrea: Yeah what’s it to you?
Girl: I just wish he had told me about you before...
Andrea: Before what?
Girl: Oh nothing just forget I said anything! Just tell him that Amanda called.
Andrea: Whatever
Andrea was so mad that she slammed down the phone! She couldn’t believe that Chris had fooled around on her. But maybe she was jumping to conclusions. Maybe she was just some crazed fan who was trying to make her paranoid. Andrea decided to try not to think about it until Chris got home.
Chris: Andrea I’m home!
Andrea: Chris we need to talk about something!
Chris: What is it?
Andrea: You know that girl that called yesterday?
Chris: Yeah what about her?
Andrea: Well her name is Amanda! Do you know her? And please don’t lie to me!
Chris: Yeah I know who she is now.
Andrea: But yesterday you said she was just some crazed fan!
Chris: Well I didn’t want to fight about her! We met on the tour and that is all I can tell you about her.
Andrea: Well she made it out to sound like the two of you had a thing!
Chris: Who are you going to believe? Her or me?
Andrea: I can’t make that decision right now!
Chris: Seriously? You are telling me that you believe her?
Andrea: All I am saying is that I don’t know who to believe! You did lie to me about knowing her!
Chris: Only because I didn’t want this to happen!
Andrea: So you would rather lie to me than let me have an honest reaction?
Chris: No... I just... Forget it!
Andrea: I need to not be with you right now!
Chris: You mean we are breaking up?
Andrea: No I’m just saying that I need sometime to think!
Chris: But I don’t understand why you can’t believe me.
Andrea didn’t respond she just went into the bedroom and gathered her things! She walked to the front door with Chris following close behind! She turned around and Gave him a kiss, and then leaves.
Chris is devastated he can’t believe that Amanda had ruined everything with Andrea. He wished that he had never spent all that time with Amanda on tour, they never did anything but hang out but Andrea wasn’t going to believe that! He had to find a way to convince her that Amanda was just lying. Chris felt empty without Andrea. He walked over to the phone and dialed her number. He knew that she wasn’t going to be home but he needed to tell her what really happened.
Chris: Baby I know you said that you needed sometime but I have to tell you something! Amanda and I did nothing when I was on tour! All I could think about was you! Every time I saw a girl on roller blades I thought of you! Whenever I was up early enough to see the sunrise I thought of our trip to the cabin! I swear I thought of you every minute of the day! Even when I was performing I thought of you, I just couldn’t wait to get home and be with you! Please try to forgive me I Love You!
And with all that being said Chris hung up the phone and sat down on his couch he was really upset and almost on the verge of tears when he heard someone crying outside his door. He walked quickly and opened the door. It was Andrea.
Andrea: Chris I just heard the message you left on my machine!
Chris: Well it is true and I had to let you know! Amanda was just a close friend on the tour! Nothing else I swear!
Andrea: Okay I believe you Chris!
Andrea buried her head in his chest and continued crying. Chris just held her and began to sing This I Promise You because it was her favourite song. She eventually stopped crying and looked up at Chris.
Andrea: I am so sorry for not believing you! But she just...
Chris: Let’s just forget about her! You are the only thing that is important in my life right now and I want to keep it that way!
Andrea: Yeah me too! I Love You Chris!
Chris: And I Love You!
The couple went into Chris’ bedroom because they had some making up to do when the phone rang again.
Amanda: Chris you can’t keep avoiding me! We need to talk about what happened. I don’t want to have to break you and Andrea up! But I will if we don’t talk about it! Just keep that in mind! Love Ya! Chow!
Andrea: Chris you really need to tell her to stop calling I can’t handle hearing things like that all the time!
Chris: Okay I’ll call her back right now!
Andrea: Right now? I think we are kinda busy!
Chris: Yeah I do enjoy making up!
Andrea: Yeah me too!
When the couple woke up the next morning it was as if nothing bad had even happened. Chris got up and made breakfast while Andrea was still sleeping he brought it to her while she was still in bed! He even fed her! It was really sweet. Then he remembered that he had to be in the studio so he took Andrea with him this time. He thought that maybe she could even produce one of the songs because that was what she was trained to do. She had worked with other groups like Westlife and Backstreet Boys but never with his group. Justin and JC had asked her to do it before but she always said that she didn’t want to get involved in Chris’ work.
Chris: Andrea, will you produce one of our songs today?
Andrea: Really you are serious about this?
Chris: Yeah I have heard the songs you have produced and they are great.
Andrea: Thanks! Okay lets go then we have a lot of work to do today!
They went to the studio and Andrea had them working really hard but the song turned out beautifully it was great.
Andrea decided that she was going to go home before going back to Chris’ so they went their separate ways. On the way home Andrea was beginning to think that she was acting stupid the day before and she wanted to make it up o Chris so she stopped off at a flower store and bought him a dozen roses. Always the symbol of love but in their relationship it meant something different. When they first got together Chris would send Andrea a rose everyday when he was on tour just to show that he was still thinking about her. She paid for the roses and walked back to her apartment.
When Chris got home he found Amanda standing outside his door.
Chris: Don’t you think you have caused enough problems? I don’t want you here go home.
Amanda: Chris you have to admit that something did happen in Paris.
Chris: Not that I can remember!
Amanda: That doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen!
Chris: So you are saying that I slept with you and don’t remember it?
Amanda: Well I guess so! I mean I remember it!
Chris: You are lying nothing happened!
Amanda: You can believe that if you want but it’s not true!
Chris opens his door to try to get away from her but she pushes her way into his apartment! Chris points to the door and tells her to get out but she just continues to walk closer to him. She grabs him and gives him a huge kiss just as Andrea walks out of the elevator. She sees that Chris’ door is open and decides to walk right in. She sees them kissing and throws his roses on the ground.
Andrea: Well I guess now I really know the truth!
Chris manages to push Amanda away and tries to reach out for Andrea but she is already out the door. She walked right past the elevator and towards the stairs.
Chris: I had nothing to do with that!
Andrea: I am sure you didn’t! But I know when you are having fun Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick and you were. You enjoyed kissing her you just don’t enjoy being caught!
Chris didn’t have a chance to say anything else because Andrea was already halfway down the stairs by the time he reached the stairwell. He had really done it this time he had lost her forever and all because of a stupid mistake that he doesn’t even remember making!
Andrea knocked on the door and hoped that he was home.
Guy: Hello?
Andrea: AJ can I come in I really need to talk to you!
AJ: Sure anything you need darlin’!
Chris had tried calling Andrea’s apartment everyday since the incident and she never seemed to be home. He answering machine always picked up. He was beginning to wonder if she was seeing somebody else. He felt that they really needed to resolve the problem, it had been a month already and they still had not spoken.
Chris was walking down the street right in front of Andrea’s apartment when he saw her with another guy. He started to wonder who this mystery man could be. However he didn’t want to get too close because he wanted to give Andrea the space that she needed instead he went home and began to write. It was late at night by the time he finished the song and he had to let her hear it. So he picked up the phone and dialed her number.
Andrea: Hello?
Chris: Hey, please don’t hang up!
Andrea: Why shouldn’t I? I caught you red handed!
Chris: Did you ever think that she forced herself on me?
Andrea: No is that what happened?
Chris: Yeah that is what happened!
Andrea: Oh then I guess I overreacted then eh?
Chris: Yeah you did.
Andrea: Tell me you wouldn’t have done the same thing?
Chris: I can’t!
Andrea: Chris why did you call?
Chris: Because you need to hear this!
Andrea: What?
Chris: Just listen
Chris begins to sing the song that he had just written for Andrea

Andrea: It means that I am ready to talk about it! How about we meet for coffee tomorrow?
Chris: Can I pick you up?
Andrea: I’d rather meet you there.
Chris: So we are starting all over again?
Andrea: We’ll talk about all that tomorrow okay? 8:00 at Tim’s!
Chris: Okay I’ll be there at 7:00! Goodnight Andrea I Love You!
Andrea: Goodnight Chris!
Andrea hung up the phone, turned around and looked at AJ.
Andrea: Now where were we?
