Pilot: Everything’s all ready A.J. We can start whenever you want.
A.J.: Thanks Chris. Let’s get moving. I can’t wait.

Andrea is lying on her bed in her pajamas, staring at the ceiling. She’s been awake for hours but, ever since A.J. left an hour ago, she hasn’t really felt like leaving that spot. She just wants to lie there and continue wishing he’s still there with her. She knows that she should be used to it by now, but every time A.J. has to leave it gets harder to let him go. Right now all she wants to do is cry. She’s glad when the phone rings because she usually needs a push to get on with her day. She reaches for the phone on her nightstand.
Andrea: Hello?
A.J.: Hi honey. Miss me?
Andrea: What do you think?
A.J.: I miss you too. What are you wearing?
Andrea: A.J.!
A.J.: What? I wanna know okay? I need something to get me through the rest of the day.
Andrea: Well right now I’m lying in the middle of the bed wearing...
A.J.: Wait! Don’t tell me! I’m just going to picture that in my head. If you tell me the truth it will ruin everything.
Andrea: You are so weird. Why do I put up with you?
A.J.: Because you love me.
Andrea: Oh yeah. So, did you really just call me because you missed me?
A.J.: I wish I could say yes, but no I didn’t. I need you to do something for me.
Andrea: Anything.
A.J.: I accidentally left my sunglasses behind in my hotel room and I can’t leave without them. It would be too much of a hassle for me to go all the way back there, so do you think you could go to the hotel for me and bring them to me at the airport? I’ve already called the hotel and cleared it with them.
Andrea: Were you that sure I’d say yes?
A.J.: Please?
Andrea: Oh you know I’m going to go. I can’t say no to you. I’ll be there soon okay?
A.J.: I’m looking forward to it. I love you.
Andrea: I love you too. Bye.
Andrea hangs up the phone and all she can do is grin. She’s going to get to see A.J. again before he leaves! She rushes to the bathroom to get ready, not wanting to wait a second longer than necessary to get to A.J.
**********
Half an hour later, Andrea is at the hotel the guys had been staying at. She approaches the clerk at the front desk.
Andrea: Hi, I need the number of A.J. McLean’s hotel room.
Clerk: I’m sorry but that’s confidential. Besides, he’s already left.
Andrea: I know that. He asked me to get something he left behind.
A wide grin appears on the desk clerk’s face.
Clerk: You must be Andrea.
Andrea: Yes. Do I know you?
Clerk: No, but we’ve heard a lot about you from A.J. He can’t stop talking about you.
Andrea can’t stop herself from smiling too.
Andrea: Is that right? I’m going to have to have a talk with him when I see him.
Clerk: If I recall correctly, you’re here to get his sunglasses.
Andrea: Yes that’s right. How did you know that?
Clerk: Everyone in the hotel knows. We know everything about it.
Andrea is starting to think something strange is going on and doesn’t really want to stay and find out what it is.
Andrea: That’s nice. So, the hotel room number?
Clerk: Oh right! Sorry. It’s Room 316. Here’s the key.
Andrea: Thanks.
She walks away and can hear the clerk whispering to someone behind her.
Andrea: Oh A.J.’s definitely going to hear about this!
Up in A.J.’s hotel room, Andrea spies A.J.’s sunglasses as soon as she walks in the door, lying on the floor by the bed where he must have dropped them as he packed. She picks them up and is about to leave when she has an idea. She grabs the phone off the nightstand and dials A.J.’s cell phone number as she reclines on the bed.
A.J.: Hello?
Andrea: Hi honey. Miss me?
A.J.: Andrea! Where are you? I thought you’d be here by now.
Andrea: I’m in your hotel room, lying on your bed,...
A.J.: Don’t say another word! Do you enjoy torturing me?
Andrea: Yes. You love it and you know it.
A.J.: So when are you going to get here? As much as I love flirting with you over the phone, I’d much rather do it in person.
Andrea: I have a better question for you. What’s this I hear about you talking about me to the hotel staff?
She is pretending to be mad but A.J. can tell she’s just teasing him.
Andrea: What have you been saying about me?
A.J.: All good things, don’t worry. What can I say? I’m in love and want everyone to know it.
Andrea smiles at that.
Andrea: Well, I guess if that’s the reason, it’s okay.
A.J.: Good, cause I couldn’t stop even if I wanted to, which I don’t.
Andrea: Well I should get going before the desk clerk wonders what is taking me so long. He seems awfully interested in what I’m doing here. I’ll see you soon.
A.J.: I can’t wait.
Andrea hangs up the phone and heads out the door.

Andrea arrives the terminal that A.J.’s plane is leaving from but A.J. is nowhere in sight. She goes over to the girl at the desk.
Andrea: Excuse me. My boyfriend asked me to bring something that he forgot, but he’s not here. Have you by any chance seen a tall, skinny, good looking guy with blue hair and facial hair?
Girl: You must be Andrea. We’ve been expecting you. He’s waiting for you on the plane. Please come with me.
Andrea thinks it’s a little strange for the airport to let a non-passenger on board, but she follows her anyway. The girl leads her down the corridor to the door of the plane and then leaves her alone. Andrea walks in and finds A.J. relaxing on a couch and realizes what’s going on.
Andrea: A private jet. I like it.
A.J. looks over and sees her. His face lights up and a second later she is in his arms. He kisses her passionately and Andrea puts up no resistance. When they come up for air, Andrea smiles up at him.
Andrea: Hello to you too A.J.! A.J.: Sorry, I’m just so excited that you’re here.
Andrea: You called, I came. So here are your sunglasses that you so desperately needed to take with you.
She hands them to him and he puts them on his head.
A.J.: Thanks. I hate to go anywhere without them.
Andrea: Don’t I know it. Well, now that you’ve got them, I guess you’re going to be needing to take off. I should get going.
A.J.: Not yet. There’s one other thing that I almost left behind that I need with me.
Andrea: And what’s that? I didn’t see anything else in the hotel room.
A.J.: You.
Andrea stares blankly at him for a minute until it dawns on her what he means.
Andrea: You’re serious?
A.J.: Completely. I want you to come with me. I hate having to leave you behind all the time.
Andrea: I know, I hate it too.
A.J.: So what do you say? We can spend some time together in Kentucky before the concert, which I’ve obviously gotten you front row seats for, then we’ll still have a few hours free before I need to leave for the next stop on our tour. After all, it’s Valentine’s Day. I need to be with my girl.
Andrea: How can I say no to that? I’d love to.
A.J. grabs her in a big hug before running to the front of the plane to inform the pilot of their departure. When he returns he finds Andrea waiting for him on the couch.
A.J.: We’ll be lifting off any second now.
He walks over to her.
Andrea: Did the entire hotel staff know about your plans?
A.J. nods his head.
A.J.: Yep, and the whole airport too.
Andrea: A.J.!
A.J.: Sorry. The guys weren’t around and I needed to tell someone.
Andrea looks up at him smiling down at her and has no desire to continue talking.
Andrea: Exactly how long will it take us to get to Kentucky?
A.J.: About an hour or so.
Andrea: Then that gives us just enough time.
She reaches up to wrap her arms around him and, after pausing a moment to take the sunglasses off of his head, pulls him down on the couch with her.
