History: Ajax of the Blade, The Dorrians, and Callifax
Attack forms (Physical): Sword (Callifax), (4)Enchanted Throwing daggers +4, Martial Arts, Great Bow
Special Skills and Abilities:Due to Ajax's extensive training in all forms of martial arts and war craft, he has the ability to wield any weapon with great proficiency. (though it should be noted he will rarely use any but Callifax in combat unless no other option presents itself) Blind Fighting, Swimming, Basic First Aide, Tumbling, Land Based Riding, Tracking, and Survival. He also has extensive knowledge of War craft, Blade Smithing and Armoring. He is literate and also has skills of Tactical Land Surveying and Cartography.
Superhuman Physical Powers: Ajax was formidable warrior even before the many changes he has gone through. However, above and beyond the listed attributes above, he has several special skills that are unique
1. Ajax is virtually tireless in battle, [Ajax's Endless Onslaught] and will never tire from exhaustion when in combat.
2. Damage Resistance of the first 15 points of damage from every attack.
3. When surrounded by superior numbers, Ajax can place himself in the most advantageous location as to minimize the attacks against him [Dance of the Sword] and reduce the number of attackers facing him by 50%.
Superhuman Mental Powers: Ajax has the ability to maintain mental clarity when in battle. Any attempt to cause confusion, rage or berserk to him during combat fails. He is also immune to fear of any kind, and can project an Aura of Fearlessness in a 50'radius [Ajax's Moral of the Brave] making all within immune to the effects of fear and horror. Ajax also posseses the ability to predict what others will do in combat allowing him to tactically decide the best action in combat. [Ajax's Premonition of Battle]
Superhuman Mystic Powers: As a Sword Saint, Ajax can command any sword in a 30' radius of him. [Master of the Blade](Note - This only works on swords, but will work on any sword normal or enchanted.) He can summon at any time a group of up to 100 elite mercenaries, gating them to his location. [Ajax's Instant Reinforcements] They will fight as directed by Ajax, and if killed, will return to the original location from which they were summoned. In rare instances, Ajax can also summon his energies for one massive attack of pin point accuracy. After such an attack, he will be drained considerably. [Strike of the Rightous] Ajax also has powers within the spheres of War, Divination, Combat, Protection, Healing and Guardian.
Special Limitations: As a Blade Kin, Ajax will be pulled to find the others like him and be forced to battle them. He also must submerge the pommel stone of Callifax in his own blood in a golden chalice once a month upon the grounds of a battle field, then spill the contents upon the field.
Source of Superhuman Powers: Though the initial changing of Ajax was attributed to Callafax, he has also gone through several devine enhancements via artifacts and accention within the ranks of the Gods of the Pantheon.
Personal Weaponry/Unique Weapon:
Callafax and the Blades of Power
These powers where granted to Ajax upon being joined with Callafax. These powers are not spells though they use similar descriptions. They should be treated as abilities with regards to using them, for no VSM components are required. (All powers are designed to work with AD&D second edition rules at 20th level.)
1. Enhanced strength.
2. Heightened Alertness. � The blade wll grant a �sixth sense� to the wielder giving him the ability to predict attacks and to sense danger.
3. Flight Speed 24, Maneuverability type B.
4. Magic resistance - 70% against personal effecting spells.
5. Detect Invisible - 60� radius. 3x per day.
6. Stone Shape - max. 23 cubic feet.
7. Cure Minor wounds - 3x day.
8. Advanced Mind Blank. Offers immunity to all mental attacks and manipulation.
9. Summon Callafax at will.
10. Haste � Doubles attacks and movement.
11. Protection from Fire/Ice.
12. Teleport w/o error.
Greater Powers
These powers may be used if the Callafax is held either in battle or not. These powers are not spells though they use similar descriptions. 8. Essence fire � An advanced fireball of blue flames, causing 20d 6 dmg. In 40� radius.)
9. Wall of Iron � 300, square feet.5 inches thick.
10. Dispel Magic � 20th Level
11. Heal/Harm � 3x day.
12. Time Anchor � Prevents the manipulation of time and temporal flow.
13. Earthquake � 100ft. Diameter.
14. Sunburst (FR) � 200 feet, rad.
Other Accessories: Other then Callafax, he keeps a series of daggers on him; (4) + 4 daggers of throwing. Ajax also wears a suit of +5 adamantite chain mail of blending. Adorning his body are 3 rings; Free Action, Improved invisibility, Ring of the Ram (50 charges), A brooch of shielding, Necklace of Adaptation, Boots of Varied Tracks, and Gloves of Missle Snaring. In his possession he also keeps a folding Boat and a tactical map of every historical battle to have ever been waged.
Transportation/Movement: Ajax has the ability to Fly at will, and can also travel dimensionally.
