Child of Water, Child of Earth

Child of Water, Child of Earth
Connected through time, connected from birth
Each discovering their own worth
Through the eyes of each other.

Silver padfalls all around
Feet now set on solid ground
A life adrift has been found
With one now called a brother.

Senses trapped, locked away
Freedom brought on day by day
Feelings brought now into play
When working with the other.

Child of Earth, Child of Water
The two together shall not falter
A joining of souls that could alter
the way they see one another.
