| "HimawaRi," (Which means "Sunflower" in Japanese) was the name of the unit previously formed by Otsuka Ai and Nishita Mami. They realesed the song "Sakuranbo" together as an indies effort. Apparently, it didn't do well.. or they would still be together, ne? They disbanned becasue Nishita got work (unknown) elsewhere and Ai wanted to, and did, continue on to a solo career. Also, on Ai's solo debut single, "Momo no Hanabira," the C/W title is "Himawari," perhaps as a tribute to her old unit. |
