This is a statement or a plea. I am not sure which. I have toyed with the words in my mind for weeks on end. I am still not sure what is the magic word to use to make sure I don’t loose even one person before they understand what it is we the family of “Amy Lynn Boyer” need for them to realize. I think like you and most all of you that read this, we would read a statement and our heart would feel bad and we would say a prayer for them and then, we would go about our business of everyday living. Until one very warm fall day, a day that forever changed a family from the oldest to the youngest. A day that will never leave our hearts or our minds, a day like no other and we pray we never have another of its kind. I have the song The Rose playing right now trying to help me through this so that I do this right. Learning to live and when the night is too lonely and the road is to long. These words seem so far away. You probably have no idea what I mean by that, I don’t know if I even know. You see one-day love is beautiful and safe and healthy and you have tomorrow and the day after and the rest of your life, and then the rest of your life is met by…9 bullets to the head of the daughter of your sister. From this moment in time, our life is changed, life without caring or even wanting to live, this is what we face from now on. WHY!!!!!!!!! Dear God why. This is a question that will forever be out there, and one that will never be answered, at least not while we are here on this earth that God has seen to leave us without “Amy”. We have a faith that gives us the strength that gets us up and puts us to bed at night. It’s the in between time that is so hard. No more phone calls from a daughter that called at least twice a day. No more shopping, or going to the beauty parlor, or even better yet, does each other’s hair. Like the last visit we had to Helen’s before the murder. Helen was putting a blonde highlight to “Amy’s hair. Hair that I touched for the final time when. Oh God. Before we closed the coffin for the last and final good-bye. Oh dear God don’t let this happen to you or to anyone else. You know this whole thing was so preventable. The signs were everywhere only no one did anything or said anything to any of us that could have done something about it. I could talk for hours about “Amy”, Helen and the love that they have and will always have because of the joining of their hearts did not die with the murder of “Amy”. It will live as long as any of us take a breath. The problem with all of this is the pain is so horrific. It is a pain that I pray you take the time to help us prevent. We can at least make an effort at making it harder. Someone’s personal information should not be available to anyone who has the going price. My niece lost her life for the total price of $159.00. This should never have been allowed to happen. What is worse it can still be happening to someone else as you are reading this, someone’s identity is being sold or stolen with out the person knowing anything about it. Please allow us the chance to bring you to our side of this fight. Yes it is a fight. A fight for your life, or your daughter, sister, brother, son, mother, father. They don’t care man woman or child; they will sell anyone’s information for the same price. Money talks. WE all loose.

With the change coming to the white house

To Whom It May Concern:
We the people of the world, and it is the world because the Internet has done away with boundaries that would otherwise separate us from one another. Amy’s bill as it was first presented, gave hope to those that are in fear for their safety, because of the fear of loosing ones own identity. We as a nation believe that it was a slap in the face, as we finally believed that Amy’s bill would become a law, that would help protect millions of innocent human beings in every far and near country, from all across the world. The bill that was presented after being torn apart on its travel through the hands of government was no shorter than a farce. After Tim Remsburg denounced his support of this bill, it was subsequently pulled from among the many bills it had become entangled with. We as a member of the human race wholeheartedly are in favor of having Amy’s bill represented, with the promise of having substance, and being worth the paper it will be written on. No one needs a feel good law that will accomplish nothing. Please adhere to my wishes as one of your constituents. That we may make the world that we call home a better place for all.
