FUNDING? Not-for-profit organization. The membership fee of $20.00 helps defray the cost of paper, printing, postage, etc.

VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION - with an in-home office located at above address. All electronic equipment is on loan from members.

ANSWERING MACHINE? Calls are returned as soon as possible. All long distance adoption related calls are returned collect.

FAX MACHINE? Please call just prior to faxing to verify that the machine is activated.

RESOURCE MATERIALS? We have a small library. All materials may be used by members only upon making suitable arrangements.

CANADIAN ADOPTION REUNION REGISTER (CARR)? This is a Parent Finder voluntary registry maintained on computer in Vancouver, BC since 1976. It contains several thousand entries from groups across Canada. We register each of our members with CARR. If someone searching for you is also registered we are notified and a reunion can be facilitated.

CANADIAN ADOPTEES REGISTRY INC? This is a voluntary internet registry located in Barrie, Ontario since July 1996. It contains several thousand entries on line as well as many thousand entries in the off-line database. http://www.canadianadopteesregistry.org We suggest you put your information on this website.

CANADIAN ADOPTION REUNION REGISTER (CARR) is a totally separate entity from any government registry

- Photostat of Adoption Order (for adullt adoptees)
- Photostat of Non-Identifying Backgrouund Information
- Photostats of all correspondence fromm agencies, lawyers, etc.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE your Adoption Order and/or your Non-Identifying Background Information when you send in your registration PLEASE FORWARD it to us as soon as you obtain it.

WE NEED as much information pertaining to your search as you can provide in order for us to direct you to the best of our ability.
