is hereby awarded by the Commander of the Army for his exemplary service to the Grande Armee, most notably, his extraordinary contribution to the Regimental Histories of II Corp, Armee du Nord.

 Colonel C. Jensen,

Imperial Guard

      

for gallantry in action, where seeing his right flank falter, he voluntarily and successfully rallied his men and forced the enemy to fall back, the Commander of the Grande Army invokes this symbol of glory to Colonel C.
