(Machine runs against the ropes, and drops his leg on the back of donahues head before he gets up, Machine then mounts browns back and starts to cross face punch him, brown starting to bleed, Machine hooks a full nelson and pulls him from the floor all the way over into a dragon suplex, brown hit the back of his neck pretty hard there,)
Tony: Donahue back up Machine gets in his Face and donahue with a slap to the face,
Pp: oh he bitch slapped Machine, Machine fires a hoard of kicks at Donahue, he's doing fairly well at blocking most of them but there are a few that make contact, donahue drops down with a drop toe hold and Machines head bounces off the last turnbuckle! oh! that had to hurt! Donahue starts talking trash, cocky guy he is, donahue talking trash, hey Halo just reached in and grabbed ed's ankle,
Tony: tha show is talking trash to ed, ed starts talking trash, Machine wearily getting up see's his opprotunity, he runs grabs and throws Ed over for a release german, beautifully executed, Ed Landed straight on the top of his head, Machine gets donahue up, grabs his arm, Ed slaps his hand away and elbows Machine in the nose, and hit another elbow, Machine groggy, Ed slams his elbow into Machine's nose again,
(Blood splats out of Machines nose the last time and ed head butts Machine in the Face, Machine Falls to the mat and Ed starts to do what he does best and talk Trash to Machine, Ed turns and see's russel brown getting to his feet, Ed throws Russell against the ropes and goes for a kick to the head, russell down Ed locks up with russell and throws him down into an armbar, Russell wants to tap But Machine breaks the hold, Machine with stomps stomps to russell brown then kicks donahue in the face,)

Pp: well Ed put up a hell of a fight but in the end, Team Drug got involved and beat down Ed, and Russell Brown isn't moving, the EMT's are coming out to get brown, this was a great opener,
Announcer: the following tournament match is scheduled for one fall.
The keyboard beat kicks in and the fans start jeering. -I read you poetry/I tell you want I know to be true/I make a sentimental observation about the moon/I kiss you so you think kisses are sublime/but I won’t spend a penny because all that you’re worth my time/Only worth my time- Son of a Gun starts his way to the ring to Romantic Cheapskate by MC Frontalots. He bobs his head to the beat. He slides into the ring and makes his way to the corner to lean back and wait for that match. –All I got to do is look her deep in the eyes/And open up the trap/Let the romance flow/And MC Frontalot has got her good to go/… But she never starts off slow/… Do you baby?-
Tony: now with V-Pac gone it makes you wonder what SOG and Monev will be doing. Are they still a tag team or will they be going singles.
PP: Well, tonight they’re both singles wrestlers and the odds are not in their favor for either match. Though this one might be a little more even.
The fog machine kicks in as drum beat of "Scorpion Sleeps" hits and the fans clap to it. As the guitar hits Twisto walks out backwards to the cheers of the fans. He turns around and throws his arms in the air. He walks his way to the ring with a strut. Jumps on the apron andf steps through the ropes as the chorus hits. CAN YOU SEE IT-IF YOU FEEL IT-THE SCORPION SLEEPS RIGHT IN MY HEAD/A POISON NEEDLE-WITH EVIL IN IT-HOW CAN I MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND?
Announcer: In this corner, standing at 5’9” and weighing in at 220 pounds from San Francisco, California.
Fans clap and streamers hit the ring.
Announcer: His opponent, standing in at 5’9” and weighing 235 pounds… Twisto!
Fans cheer and clap when the streamers hit. The two move in, to stand up to one another. Twisto puts his hand out and SOG looks at it. SOG fires with a couple of rights and tries a whip but Twisto reverses it. SOG bumps back into the tilt-a-whirl but lands on his feet and locks in a side headlock. Twisto pushes him back into the ropes and off to the far ones.
Tony: Son of a Gun ducks the chop and hooks the hand, whips Twisto to the ropes now. Twisto back-shoulder block takes down his former tag partner. Twisto hits the ropes, over SOG. Back, under the leap frog. Modified monkey flip by SOG but Twisto lands on his feet.
PP: SOG nips up. Side headlock takedown. SOG keeping his shoulder up. Pushing up on Twisto’s face. Pulls his hair and ref calls it, head scissors. Twisto up, flips over, bridge up before a pin count. Turns Twisto around and into a backslide.
Fans clap.
Tony: Kick out after 1. Twisto comes in with a swing and SOG rolls him up in a school boy. Kick out after 1. SOG with the mahistoral cradle. Another quick kick out.
Fans clapping.
PP: SOG with an armdrag. The arm hooked, has his knee on his head. Pulling Twisto up, armbar. Pulls him closer-standing firemans carry-slam. Drops the knee to the chest, a pin and another quick kick out.
Tony: Reverse chin lock. Son of a Gun isn’t going to win this by keeping a slow pace. Twisto already starting up to his feet. SOG wraps his leg around Twistos, rolls him into a modify pin. 1-2-kick out. Twisto up, SOG lands some chops, whip-armbar reversal. Kick to the gut.
Twisto puts on an armbar and locks in the hammerlock. Trips him forward and stretches on the arm. Son of a Gun starts using his free arm and legs to crawl to the ropes. Twisto drops the knee into the arm. Pulls SOG up and plants a scooping slam on the hammerlock. Goes for a cover but only gets a one. Twisto locks in a keylock submission. Son of a Gun continues his crawl to the ropes and finally grabs the bottom one. Son of a Gun is pulled up by his hair and whipped out into the ropes. Twisto goes for a pick up but Son of a Gun twists into a front body scissors. Once pulled back up Son of a Gun lands a modified bulldog. SOG hits the ropes and comes out with a rolling senton on Twistos back. Goes for the cover, but only gets a two.
Tony: Son of a Gun with a vertical suplex. Floats into a cover, 1-2-kick out. SOG stands Twisto up, whip to the ropes… ducks too early and Twisto with a pick up for a Powerbomb. Son of a Gun into a modified armdrag takes Twisto down. Runs up, dropkick connects and Twisto goes down. Rolling outside.
PP: SOG very determined in the early going of this match. SOG with a springboard 180-moonassault

Tony: Son of a Gun taking the fight to aCw’s Best of the Best. That was beautiful. SOG sends him in. SOG now, slingshot leg drop on the back of the skull. The cover, 1-2-kick out. Son of a Gun now, with a scoop slam. Tells the referee to move, runs and flips off the middle rope. Twisto moves, catches Son of a Gun with he lariat!
Fans cheer. Twisto nods his head with smile.
PP: Bit surprised no ones screaming for SOGs head. But the Japanese must respect this slightly more serious attitude. The cover, 1-2-kick out. Twisto now, backbreaker. No pin, michinoku driver. Modified slightly. Kick out. These two going at it like pros. I was expecting more cheating from Son of a Gun and more intensity from Twisto.
Tony: Cross arm breaker but SOG clasps his hands. But back to your comments, I think from Twisto’s promos he sees Son of a Gun lost and wants to help him find his way. Twisto gives up on the arm, stands up and drops a boot to the shoulder.
PP: Yeah, maybe in Twisto’s demented mind he thinks his helping SOG but he still wants to win this and get the title. I think he does. Going for the powerbomb but SOG blocks it. Smart move.
Tony: Twisto with some hard forearms. Neckbreaker. Quick pin, 1-2-kick out. Boot to the back of the spine.
Twisto: WHOO!
Fans: WHOO!
PP: I don’t get the love the fans give this guy. He’s good but a little… odd.
Tony: By good you mean great, and by odd you mean has personality.
PP: No. I meant-aw screw it.
Tony: Arm ringer by Twisto. Jerking the arm out of the shoulder. Pick up, rolling samoan drop to the corner. Going up top-moonassault misses!
PP: SOG grabbing his neck, pulling himself up by the turnbuckle. Twisto in, catches an elbow to the jaw. Springboard on top and twists into a crossbody. 1-2-kick out. Twisto up fast-short powerbomb by SOG. Needs to make a cover but he is going up top.
Tony: Not a smart move but here goes… flying elbow drop misses! Twisto up behind him ready, grabs the arm for the fujiawara. Son of a Gun rolls out. But Twisto still holding that arm. Armbar, reversal by SOG, misses the clothesline and gets waistlocked. Son of a Gun fighting. Fullnelson.
PP: Dragon suplex with bridge.1-2-kick out. Twisto right back on him, sit out Powerbomb!
Fans cheer but are shocked when Son of a Gun kicks out. SOG gets pulled up and is hit with another backbreaker, tilt-a-whirled onto his feet and hit by an overhead suplex. Fans clap and chant CONTACT HIGH!
Tony: Even in Japan, you can’t get away from that chant. Not that Twisto wants to. Twisto now skipping around for the fans. He should be covering.
PP: Too busy being a fool.
Tony: Taking a bow. SOG starting to move, leaning his body weight onto his shoulders. Twisto turns-nipped up into a head scissors hurricarana with pin. 1-2-3!
PP: Holy shit, Son of a Gun actually won! SOG goes on to the next round!
Fans clap as the Announcer announces Son of a Gun as the winner.
Tony: SOG rolling out of the ring holding his arm. He looks surprised too. Twisto in the ring, a little shocked.
PP: Now he’s clapping and smiling. I don’t get this man.
Becky: Megan, tonight you are going against a one time rival making his return to aCw, Spynn. How do you feel about this match.
Megan: You know, I'm actually really excited. I'm looking forward to beating the living crap out of him and yelling at him-
Megan looks down at the ground and starts pointing.
Megan: BAD DOG! BAD DOG! BAD DOG! I like being the aggressor.
Becky: Don't you think you're taking this match lightly?
Megan: Lightly? Of course not. I know Spynns won a lot of titles and is a violent bastard. I know when he goes out to face me he'll bring all of hell with him. But the thing is, I don't care. Because I'm confident in my ability to punk his ass out.
Becky: Anything else you want to say to the rest of the competitors?
Becky: I see we've had some surprises and predictable victories already and I look to whats up next and know there is more ahead. it doesn't really matter who wins or who I have to face next because I'm gonna do the best I can to be the best in aCw. My name is Megan Birch and I am the first woman of aCw and I will face any man who wanst to throw down.
Megan walks off camera.

Throws his arms up at the ropes.

Cheers with claps and some boos. Streamers hit the ring.
PP: Fatals been spending some time in Japan after UCW while Fates been getting name recognition here because of his tours with aCw.
Tony: Lot of bad blood building between these two, and this is the first time they’ve faced off. It also seems both men have their fans and people who detest them.
PP: Lock up, Fate pushed down by the bigger man. Fate up now, circling. Lock up. Fate tries for a leg but Fatal catches him. Fate with a pick up though, drops him and switches into a waistlock. Fatal fighting his grip, standing up, breaks out and puts on an armbar.
Tony: Switches off into a hammerlock, Fate stepping towards the rope, gets a break. Fatal looking confident against the former multiple aCw champion.
PP: Another lock up-armbar by Fatal. Twisted Fate drops to one knee. Rubbing his shoulder. Starting up, uses his free arm-scoop slam-Fatal holds the arm and takes him over. Has it locked around the shoulder, knee on the head.
Fans clap.
Tony: Fatal from the Ikon School. Trained by Fates rival and current aCw owner Carl Towns as well as a handful of others.
PP: Fate pushing Fatals knee of his face, starting to stand. Fatal with a knee to the midsection. Pushes up on the chin so his standing straight-hard knife edge chop takes Fate down.
Tony: Fate starts up, pushed into the corner by Fatal. Knife edge chop again. Loud smacking noise. Fate holding on to one rope with his arm, squatting and rubbing his shoulder. Fatal stands him up, another hard chop.
PP: Damn those have to hurt. Arm takedown, back to that lock around the shoulder, and knee on the side of the face.
Tony: Fates a good technical wrestler but his strengths in his speed and brawling. But Fatal could probably hang with him on the brawling.
Fatal pulls Fate up who fires in with a hard forearm. Followed by a couple more until Fatal releases the arm. Fate throws a couple rights and lands a kick to the midsection before the front headlock. Signals for the DDT but Fatal pulls out into an armbar with wristlock. Tweaks the arm and nods his head. Fate nails a couple of rolls and reverses the armbar sending Fatal on his back. Fatal gets up and catches a kick to the midsection and a DDT. Fate starts up, grabs Fatal’s head but Fatal fires out with another hard chop sending Fate down to the mat. Fate rolls to the ropes. Fatal comes in and gets maneuvered between the middle and top rope to the outside.
PP: Fate now-planche catches the bigger man. Fate pulling Fatal up, snap suplex on the outside. Refs telling him to come in, Fate throwing Fatal in. Fatal on his knee-boot to the face by Twisted Fate and a cover, 1-2-kick out. That was a hard boot. Fate now, pulling Fatal up, elbow to the back of the skull. Neckbreaker. The cover.
Tony: This is a straight up wrestling match. Both men trying to control the pacing and working on a body part. Fates locked in on the head. Whip to the ropes-dropkick. Fatal stumbles back, out between the ropes. Fate waiting… hits the ropes-suicide dive!
PP: Fatal side steps and Fate hits the guardrail arm first. Not good. Fatal all over him with those stomps. Standing him up-slams his arm into the metal rail. Rolling him in. Fatal in now, hooks the hammerlock, knee to the gut.
Tony: Gutwrench suplex on that arm! He could’ve broken it. The cover, 1-2-kick out. Fatal pulling Twisted Fate up, hard slap to the face takes Fate down to one knee. Fatal being disrespectful. Pick up, firemans carry front slam. He holds that arm. Cross arm breaker but Twisted Fate clasps his hands.
PP: Kicks it off and has it locked. Fate trying to get to the ropes now.
Some fans clap others just sit back and watch as Fate edges slowly, but eventually, to the ropes. Fatal releases the move. He pulls Fate up by his hair and whips him into the ropes. Goes for a clothesline but Fate ducks and hooks the waistlock into the release german suplex. Fans clap as both men are down. Fatal sits up first, shaking his head. Fate rolls onto his gut while favoring his arm. Fatal crawls over to Twisted Fate, pulling him up by his hair. Fate gets behind him and hits a second german suplex but with the hold. Fatal kicks out after 2. Fate starts pulling Fatal up, Fatal fires with several forearm strikes and then spinning back chop. Fate staggers until he falls on one knee. Fatal hits the ropes but is caught with a spinebuster by Fate. He covers.
Tony: That was so very close! Twisted Fate now, Sitting Fatal up… stretch plum. Or Sitting Eastern Stretch. Whichever you prefer.
PP: Fatal telling the referee no.
Tony: This has been a very good match back and forth. Fatal, the youngest of the two and least experience, showing Fate he can go but Fate showing him that, even despite his smaller size, he is still a dangerous wrestler.
PP: Fatal definitely the biggest of the two but that really hasn’t factored in yet.
Tony: Fate abandoning the move. Pulling Fatal up now… suplex. Holds it and turns… a second suplex. Flips back, sitting front headlock. Stretching Fatal.
Fans clap.
PP: Each man is not only trying to beat the other, but also showcase what they hope to do this entire tournament.

Tony: Fatal grabs his arm, moves him onto his gut, sits on the shoulder for a submission. Fate crawling to the ropes. Not far enough away for Fatal. Doesn’t allow for much time with that locked on.
PP: Fatal, whipping Fate out-lariat! Catching Fate right on the throat. The cover. 1-2-kick out! Fatal kneeling up shocked.
Fans clap.
Tony: Fatal arguing with the referee when he should be following up. here he goes now, taking too much time. Going for another Powerbomb-hurricarana!
PP: Great counter. Fatal getting up quick, Fate with a kick and Powerbomb hold. 1-2-kick out.
Tony: Fate favoring his arm. That took a lot from him. Fatal trying to stand. Fate hits the ropes-flight of the angel? Fatal trying to catch him and reverses but Fate into dragon sleeper with body scissors. It could be over.
PP: Fatal has Fate on him. Using all his strength to stay on one knee. Trying to stand, falls down. Fatal onto his gut, crawling now.
Tony: Getting to the ropes. Referees calling a break now. Fate’s not letting go.
PP: Fatal making his way to the corner, climbing it? Jumps back and falls hard on Fate!>P> Fans cheer and clap as both men are down. Fate starts up first as Fatal follows suit. Fate shakes it off and nails a back suplex hold and he referee counts 1-2-3. He lets go, holding his shoulder as Fatal lays on the ground, both men exhausted as ‘Paint It Black’ hits.
Announcer: And your winner, moving on, Twisted Fate!
Tony: Fate wins and advances but Fatal really took it to him. But in the end, Fates experience wins out.
PP: Fatal gets knocked out of the tournament but so far he is doing a good job of showing he can stand up against some of the more experienced wrestlers and maybe after some matches he’ll start taking his new experience and getting some wins.

A rough distorted guitar screeches through the arena, as steam shoots up on the stage, before a pause, then 'These Walls' hits and fire explodes on the stage. As the main riff plays and repeats, Jason Blade enters the arena through the fire on the stage. He stops at the top of the ramp, and looks around the arena, before slapping his chest and raising his arms to salute the crowd. He then begins to walk down the ramp, shaking hands with some of the fans before sliding into the ring, and pacing around again. Finally, he climbs a turnbuckle and raises his arms again, before climbing back down and leaning on the ropes.
Explosion by Joey Carbone and Richi Zito kicks with synths and drum machine beat. The 80s keyboard kicks in and Samual Hart walks out in a black leather jacket to the cheers of the Japanese fans. He walks up the steel steps and into the ring. He gets into the corner and takes off his jacket, hands it outside and stands ready to fight.
Announcer: In this corner, standing in a 6’3, weighing in at 245 pounds… from Miami, Florida… Jason Blade!
Fans clap and cheer as streamers hit the ring.
Announcer: His opponent, standing in at 6’5” and weighing in at 281 pounds, from Calgary Alberta, Canada… he is the aCw Pure Puroresu Champion Samual Hart!
Fans cheer loud as Hart gives the ichibon sign as streamers hit the ring.
Tony: Hart is far better known out here in Japan than Blade. That’s the bell, both men circling-Blade shoots in for the leg-knee to the side of the head!
PP: Hart’s no dummy. Starseed and Megan have been going for his knee in their matches so Hart was probably ready for that. Lockup-Hart effortlessly pushes Blade into the corner. Referees calling for a break-looking clean!
SMACK.
Tony: Loud knife edge chop. A second one. Pulling Blade out of the corner now-Blade fires with some right fists. Whip-Hart into an armbar reversal kick to the midsection. Scoop slams Blade down. Blade trying to stand but Hart right into a front headlock.
PP: Hart looks to have it nice and tight but Blade edging back to the ropes. Referees calling for a break.
Tony: Hart’s not giving it. Ref warning him now. Hart playing the rules knowing there is no title on the line under pure wrestling rules.
PP: Pulls Blade away, up, hard uppercut. Blade down on one knee-boot to the face. Cover and quick kick out. Not surprising. Back to the front headlock. Hart using his massive arms to try and cut of the circulation of air to Blades head.
Tony: No one can claim Hart didn’t know what he was doing. His put on aCw classics. In the Best of the Best beating 8 other wrestlers, only to lose to Twisto in the final tie breaker. Blade to the ropes again.
PP: You know Tony, Hart talks a lot about Strong Style and Kings Road, let’s give the viewers some info on that. Oh-Hold on Blade able to catch the uppercut and trying for a backslide but hart’s too strong. Releases one arm, tries to swing into a clothesline.
Tony: But Hart into a waistlock takedown. Back into that headlock. Hart definitely keeping to his plan, softening up for the Salutations of Calgary.
PP: So get to the explanation.
Tony: Okay… strong style is mainly known as Puroresu. Though Japan has also contributed to the hardcore style and the junior heavyweights essentially Strong Style was based around simple but effective holds, lots of hard strikes, and as the match progress’ more emphasis on power moves that could knock out your opponent.
Blade gets to the ropes again and Hart releases. PP interrupts Tony for a moment to comment as Hart releases and drops two boots to the back of the head. He pulls Blade up and hooks for a suplex. But upon the pick up Blade floats over and nails the dropkick to the back of the leg. Fans clap as he grabs Harts ankle and tries for the single leg but Hart gets to the ropes.
Tony: Nice move by Blade but couldn’t follow up so now the two men square off again. Lock up, knee by Blade. Hard right hand. Takedown and locks the side leglace.
Fans clap.
PP: Hart not liking this. But back to what we’re discussing.
Tony: Yeah, strong style is definitely a hard style of wrestling. You have to build a real ability to absorb damage to the head. Though it may seem repetitive in some cases with their moves, it is just the style to try and really knock your opponent out enough for a three count. You’ll see brainbusters, lariats, or moves used repeatedly until they work. It’s not uncommon for a match end with something as simple as a german suplex hold or even to see a wrestlers kick out of anothers finisher. In fact, it’s rare to see a single wrestler with a finisher that never had at least one wrestler kick out. Maybe Kobashi and the burning hammer.
PP: Hart outside, got the ropes break. Taking a moment. Now, back to styles, what’s Blade got to do?
Tony: Hart can be thrown off by luchador moves if it’s done in the idea to try and score a quick win. On a technical wrestling level, he could be forced to tap out. But Blades more American style is not going to allow him to really go move by move. Hart slides in and rolls back out. His arsenal of signatures and finishers are not viewed as reliable finishers over there. For them to be truly effective he’d have to hit them numerous times until they work.
