In love with God and His greatest and most precious creation, mankind, the human face has long fascinated me. What a challenge it is to capture the unique personality, emotion and spirit that lie above and beneath the surface. Still, the face is not complete without the body and thus the body must be a part of the picture; the gestures and stance inseparable in the equation. Whether in serious studies in oil and pastel or more capricious caricatures in pen or pastel, participating in this form of “re-creation” is such a gift. Thank you, God! | |
