This is an interesting website by Carl Fritts Jr. about the Fraterville Mine Disaster. (The Fraterville Mine Disaster is also mentioned in Let Me Tell You About Coal Creek.) Mr. Fritts became interested in the disaster because of having found some old photos and handwritten notes belonging to his grandmother, Ollie Massengill Fritts.
