Wonder
The great enemy of religion is not godlessness so much as spiritlessness. Boredom, dullness, apathy, passivity are all too common today. But there are a few of us out there whose lives are full of great wonder. And there are those whose lives are the ho-hums. Instead of seeing the world filled with incredible wonder and delights, it becomes blah.

Does anything seem fascinating to anyone these days? Even God seems dull to many. God's very existence causes me to wonder, to want to draw near to Him. The enemy is not always ignorance but apathy. A world full of wonderful delights to behold. But when was the last time you said, "WOW!" Christianity needs an awakening of the profoundness of the mystery of God and his universe. The world is ever present, alive and full of FIRE. Who ever notices the burning bush of Moses or is even amused or amazed by it? So much apathy that people aren't even moved to say, "Really!"

We should not only wonder about the supernatural, but also the natural. Our senses become dulled by our repeated exposure to everyday occurrences. God is to be found in the supernatural of the natural.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hand.
