Developed the protocol for protein purification using ion-exchange, size-exclusion, and affinity chromato-

graphs on FPLC system (Pharmacia). Optimized the assay for electrophoretic separation and molecular

weight determination of purified metallothionein on Phast gel system (Pharmacia). Analyzed the polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activity and PPO-catalyzed end products by spectrophotometer, oxygraph and HPLC.
