Finding Out...

One June 15,2001 I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. I kinda knew I was pregnant because on that Tuesday I had went to the Giant and got a box of 2 EPT'S. I took one of the test that night and 2 lines appeared within 1 minute. Then the next morning I took another test and 2 more lines appeared. So I was sure I was sure I was pregnant. So when I got to work that morning I called my sister because she only work around the corner from me and asked her can she go with me to Planned Parenthood to go get a blood test. She said yes. So at lunch time we went there and they took the test and said call back on Friday....

Friday took so long even though it was only 2 days away. So Friday came and my friend Trice (whats up girl) called to get the results and they said " yes you are pregnant and going by your LMP you are 5 weeks and I think 4 days" I was like OMG this is not the time. I have only been back with my bf for a couple of weeks, I am still in school, I only work part-time what am I going to do.

I told my sister first because she went with me to get the confirmation letter.When I got home I told T and he was just smiling. He was so happy. I was shock so I wasn't so happy. I told a couple of friends and he told his. But I still didn't tell my fam. I didn't want to or didn't know how to. So now I am like I cant tell my mother or grandmother. So I did something that I regret doing now. I told my mother but I told her by email. I wish I could of had just sat her down and just told her. My mother is very understanding.I really dont know why I was scared to tell her. I was 20 years old working and going to school, been with my bf for 4 years. You would think I could just let her know. Well any way I told her she told my grandma and my grandma told my aunt so the hard part was now over.

Everybody has been very supportive of me. My whole family is waiting for our newest member to come. Everyone wants to be my baby's godmother.
