Lisburn
is situated in the County of Antrim,
just south west of the city of Belfast
(home of the Titanic).
It is a market town with a population of around 100 000 inhabitants and
is continually growing. Lisburn
is famous for the linen produced from its location on the banks of the
River Lagan.
There is a great deal of history
relating to the town, ranging from the 1798 Rising to the falling of thousands
of her sons in Two World Wars. There have been many highly successful
and well thought of people exported from Lisburn
and today it has just as much potential to be great as it has ever had.
