The following series of photos were taken with a Nikon F4s, Nikkor 300 2.8 EDIF, and Kodak E-200 Film.

The bears wait till they "spot" a salmon. This whole sequence of photos took place in just a second or two at the most and I was lucky to get this sequence. The bear has spotted a salmon and is getting ready to take the plunge.

The bear makes the plunge for the salmon and will go under the water to catch the fish. This was not a common fishing technique used by all bears, but this particular one liked to fish this way.

There he goes, under the water. Will he catch his fish?

Yes! The fish is mine! Another successful catch of the day. I was pleased with the sequence of shots and think they will look nice as four prints hanging on the wall together.
