TRAVEL

Always make sure you have a roll of duct tape with you when you travel--you never know when you are going to lose a quarter panel. And, when you aren't using it to fix stuff, a roll of duct tape duct taped to the dashboard of your car makes a great pop can holder!

Suddenly find yourself in a ditch? Double duct tape over onto itself the long way for an instant tow rope. Heavier cars and trucks may want to add multiple layers.

FIRST AID

FINGER REPAIRED WITH DUCT TAPEJam a finger playing basketball? Quick! Eat two popsicles, and duct tape a stick to each side of your finger. You can use two by fours and duct tape if you break a leg, or two by eight sheets of plywood and duct tape for a total body cast

CAMPING

Lawn Chair Webbing Repair

Sun Prairie, Wisconsin's S.S. uses duct tape to replace the webbing in his lawn chairs after the original straps wear out.

CANOE REPAIR

CANOE REPAIRED WITH DUCT TAPEWe have had literally hundreds of folks tell us that duct tape is an invaluable tool for canoers. When you accidentally rip a hole in your canoe below the waterline, put a strip of duct tape both on the inside and outside of the canoe hull (dry it thoroughly first). This repair has lasted years for some. Some claim that the repair is more effective if chewed bubblegum is placed in the hole before the duct tape is applied.

REMEMBER -- DON'T GET STUCK WITHOUT IT !!!
