The Boundary Waters Canoe Area is a 1,087,000 acre ecosystem with more than 1,000 lakes located in Northern Minnesota near Ely, MN. Each year, over 200,000 visitors travel here, making this the most heavily used wilderness in the nation. Check out some of my links below!

My four years of college were spent at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota. The summers bring loons and fishing. The fall brings Ruffed Grouse hunting. The winters I could of done without. I can forget all my worries while on a lake alone with the cry of the loon. If you haven't visited Bemidji before you must plan a trip soon. Visit the univeristy homepage if you are thinking about a college to attend. I graduated with an elementary teaching degree thanks to professors like Jim Brouwer and Carol Reesink. Oh and I can't forget Ami who taught me to play better tennis and let me skip class the day I loaned her my tennis video. :-)
