Ed Adams Award

To continue the spirit and participation in the Arizona Flycasters Club, that Ed Adams demonstrated, we offer the Ed Adams Fellowship patch. This award is offered to all members as a symbol of what Ed Adams instilled in us through his involvement in every phase of club activities. Ed was one of the founding members when it was a salt water fishing club. He was a past president and was on the board until he died in 1992.

Any member accumulating 100 points, is presented the Ed Adams patch at the annual banquet held in February each year. To earn points you must participate in club activities. Here is a list of those points.

Board Meeting	5 Pts /Meeting
Monthly Outing or Event	3 Pts / Outing or Event
Flytying meeting or Class	3 Pts / Meeting or Class
Rod Building Classes	3 Pts / Class
Casting Classes	3 Pts / Class
Other	Pts. to be determined by the Board
Other includes such things as donating flies, teaching any of the above classes, attending committee meetings and other items to be determined by the board.

Any member that accumulates 200 points or more will be awarded a patch with a Gold border.
The points will be tallied by the Membership Chairman. The calendar year is the time frame for accumulating points.
After earning 5 patches a pin will be given showing the 5 years of outstanding service to the club and its members.
The pin will have the Itegration pattern on it. This was one of Ed's favorite flies.
