A native of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Andrea Kowalski is a reporter for the Whittier Daily News. Also having resided in Pittsburgh, New York City and Maine, Andrea and her even-tempered calico, Sienna, now make Pasadena their home. She landed at a newspaper after experience as a Web Site Editor for EarthLink Network. She's also written for the Pasadena Star-News, Pittsburgh Magazine, Publius and New York Now. Andrea received her M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and her B.S.in Music Education from Duquesne University. When she's not writing, Andrea may be hiking, teaching swimming, playing flute pieces, shopping for Swedish furniture or watching Party of Five. She also pirates the texture and taste of a frothy frappuccino in her own blender.
