Now as I said in the opening page, this movie has some incredibly sweet characters. With that said again, let's begin the character guide!

Tsunami Shijo : One of the overall coolest characters I've ever seen in the world of anime. His hair is a very very light shade of lavendar, and he never lets his emotions control him. He's what's known as a "flame manipulator". Though it looks to me like he would be better described as an air elemental. He has the standard power of flying but can manipulate the energy in the air. He uses this to devestating effect in his first battle with huang and chen when he pierces huang's hand and chen's chest with a single blast. He's a man on a mission of sorts when Shizuka comes to him for help in tracking down a monster. His search leads him to a shady crime lord bent on domination. His past catches up with him near the end and he is again forced to fight a battle for earth.

Shizuka Tachibana : In the opening her lover is turned into a monsterous lumbering beast for reasons she does not know. Unable to escape the beast, she loses an arm in the ensuing struggle before the monster jumps out of the window and escapes. Consumed with a desire to uncover the truth about her lover, she sets off on a search. She is saved from a madman's bullet by Tenku who introduces her to Tsunami Shijo, the coolest man ever. She eventually finds what she's looking for and meets up with her transformed and imprisoned former lover. In an attempt to end his suffering, she is killed before she can carry out the task. Tsunami shows remorse for the beast and ends its life with Shizuka in its arms.

Huang and Chen Long : A really messed up twin brother and sister team. From what I can gather by watching them I believe their relationship to be a LOT more than that of a normal brother and sister. Huang is constantly showed up by Tsunami in their battles and is eventually killed by him. After Tsunami kills Chen, Huang loses it and blindly attacks. Tsunami easily elminates the angry Huang.

Tenku : A rather entertaining fellow. He saves Shizuka from a madman's bullet then takes her to his place to let her recover from the shock. She explains to him about the monster and Tenku tells her he has a friend named Tsunami Shijo who knows a lot of stuff about demons and monsters. He is something of the guard dog for Shizuka as he always keeps an eye on her. How do you remedy that? Well, Shizuka drugs him so she can go look for the monster.

Kudo : The shady crime lord mentioned in Tsunami's description. He plays a surprisingly minor role when compared to some of the other characters. While he does talk to Tsunami and lies to him about the monster, saying he knows nothing about the monster, he also sends two men after Tsunami to kill him. Even with strength enhancing bio capsules, both men are easily killed by Tsunami. Later, Kudo helps bring back the "Dark Master". He is then killed by the giant demon.

Takamiya : You don't see him until the end. He is turned into the "Dark Master". He then fights Tsunami and loses.

Detective Kumazawa : A relatively minor character. He sends Tajima to Junk to check out the virus that is suspected to have infected Shizuka's lover. He also has a quaint little chat with Tsunami in a restaurant where he explains how much he loves fries, but they make him fat.

Tajima : The most minor character in the movie. All he does is talk to Junk and not understand all the talk about DNA. He is decapitated by Huang.

Junk : Figures out everything about the virus. Too bad he's killed by one of the twins. You can't tell which since his chest suddenly bursts and you just see the two twins behind him. detective kumazawa, tajima, junk
