Vaughan Williams : Five Mystical Songs
Brahms : Ein deutsches Requiem

Including the beautiful How lovely are they dwellings Brahms' German Requiem is one of the great pillars of nineteenth century choral repertoire. Its text, compiled by the composer from the Lutheran Bible, is set to a series of powerful choruses characterised by a granite-like dignity emphasising Christian values of consolation, affirmation and hope.
