Saturday 6th July 2002 7.30pm Romsey Abbey ELGAR: The Dream of Gerontius

	Elgar's inspirational setting of Cardinal Newman's theological poem written for the 1900 Birmingham Festival is performed here in Romsey Abbey with three outstanding soloists and a distinguished orchestra. Joining Romsey Choral Society is the Winchester-based chamber choir Southern Voices.
