the Dallas metroplex to about 45 students.  I am married (6 1/2 years)
to Mark Finley (a professional tuba player and teacher) and we have a 5
1/2 year old son, Carl.  We currently live in Mesquite, TX.

I graduated w/ a degree in library science and a minor in mathematics in 1977 from NSU.  (I was a music major for two years and the principal horn player at NSU for 4 yrs. and the feature twirler and head majorette in the marching band.)  I have a masters degree in library science from LSU.  I married Ed Thompson, the former president of Phi Mu Alpha (Gamma Rho), and our oldest son, David, is a senior music major @ NSU.  He is also in PMA.  I am a school librarian in Highland Village, TX, and my husband is a band director in Flower Mound, TX.
