The Knights Templar Preceptory  -  Quite possibly the best and most informative page on the Web dealing with the Templars.  The Preceptory contains a wide variety of information on just about every aspect of the Templars. 

     Founding of the Knights Templar  -  A description of the founding of the Templars and various rites and such, and one of Richard Shand's plethora of curious pages on his "Illuminations" site.  This one is reasonably good, but I would personally advise one to consider the proverbial grain of salt with most of Richard's work; I very rarely agree with any of the stuff quoted on his pages, and very often vehemently disagree, but repect the sheer amount of research and energy he must put into them. 

     Mysteries of the Templars  -  Another of Richard's pages, this one containing various stuff on the charges leveled against the Templars, and their possible roots in fact.  I would say, this is perhaps a good time to begin considering that salt. 

     The Knights Templar  -   A pretty good page which has information on the Templars, their organizational structure, the daily life, their history and legends surrounding the lost "Templar treasure." 

     The Knights of the Temple  -  Another page on the Templars; this one considers the many aspects of the Order and its legends.
