"SOFIA STRINGS" CHAMBER ENSEMBLE

The "SOFIA STRINGS” Chamber Ensemble was founded in 1985. The orchestra became very popular with the series of concerts in the Bulgarian National Television under the baton of the great Bulgarian conductor Vassil Kazandjiev. This series was repeated in Italy, Germany and Greece. In 1991 the orchestra made very successful tour in England with the conductor Alan Haseldine and soloists Angel Stankov and Jossif Radionov, with which the "Sofia Strings" made also in 1992 CD recordings. 1992 -1996 the orchestra recorded Integral (6 CD's) with the orchestra works by Walter Angerer. In the last years the "Sofia Strings" made concert tours in Germany, Turkey, Greece, Italy and Spain.
