VLADIMIR STOYANOV

Vladimir Stoyanov finished the “Lyubomir Pipkov” Music High-School in Sofia, in 1989 and the “Pancho Vladigerov State Music Academy, Sofia, in 1995. He made his debut on the stage of the Bourgas Opera House in 1993. In 1994 he took a specialization course at the “Boris Hristov” Academy in Rome with Nikola Guzelev. That same year he also specialized at the Academy of the Milan Scala with Magda Olivero. Following three successful seasons with the Plovdiv Opera House, since 1999 he has been an independent soloist. Vladimir Stoyanov has guest-performed at the Deutsche Oper (Berlin), Teatro Di San Carlo (Naples), the Milan Scala (Milan). He has also taken part in numerous concerts and performances in Bulgaria and abroad (Germany, Spain, Austria, Italy). Vladimir Stoyanov’s most notable roles in the baritone repertoire include: Don Carlos, Traviata, The Power of Fate, Ernani, The Masking Ball (Verdi); Madam Butterfly, La Boheme (Puccini); Carmen (Bizet); Prince Igor (Borodin); The Elixir of Love (Donizetti) etc. He had his debut in "Thracia Summer" Music Festival in 1999.
