ANNA PHILIPOVA

Anna Philipova was born in Rousse. In 1995 she took singing lessons in Vratza with Galin Dobrev. She finished the “Vesselin Stoyanov High-School of Music in Rousse in Katrin Emilova’s singing class and later graduated from the National Academy of Music and Dance, Plovdiv, in Valentina Alexandrova’s class. Anna is now a student at the "Pancho Vladigerov" State Music Academy in professor Tesa Koleva’s singing class and in professor Svetozar Donev’s acting class. She participates in philharmonic concerts and solo performances. She won First prize and Gold medal at the Svetoslav Obretenov National Contest in 1998. Apart from her concert arias and songs, she also has the roles of Mrs. Flute (Merry Wives of Windsor by Otto Nkolay) and Donna Anna (Don Juan by Mozart) in her repertoire. In 1998 Anna Philipova made her debut in "Thracia Summer" Music Festival.
