MARIO HOSSEN
Mario Hossen born in Plovdiv, graduated the Music- High School "Dobrin Petkov" under Professor Darina Dankova. He brilliantly completed his musical education with Ruggiero Ricci, Evguenia Tshugaeva, Evguenia- Maria Popova, and in 1997 he finished the Musik University in Vienna, where he studied with Professor Michael Frischenschlager. He won various prizes - "Obretenov" '84, "Nedjalka Simeonova" '87, Florenz '93, and Thessaloniki '96. He is holder also of the prize "Alban Berg" of the foundation "Alban Berg". In quality of soloist Mario Hossen performed with various Orchestras - Prague Philharmonic, Plovdiv Philharmonic, Wiener Jeunesse Orchester ,Vidin Philharmonic Orchestra and others. He had performed also in Germany, Japan, France, USA... In 1996 Mario Hossen obtain Austrian citizenship "for brilliant attainment in the modern music" and in 1999 he recorded his first CD with the Plovdiv Chamber Orchestra, Nayden Todorov conducting, in a performance of the Mozart's third Violin Concerto.
