Heather Says "Yes!" In Front of 3000 People!
It
was like a romantic movie musical! Rivertown Sound tenor,
Bill Dean, carefully planed out the entire scheme. On June
29, 2002, Rivertown Sound sang with Steve Davis' "Memories of Elvis" at Jefferson Barracks Park. Near the end of
the program, Steve called up Heather to the stage. Bill
went to his knee and offered his beloved Heather a ring with "Will
you marry me?" She said "Yes!" and the audience
of over 3000 gave out a romantic sigh and then a huge cheer. Steve
then sang Elvis' most romantic song: "I Can't Help Falling
In Love With You". The two young lovers then danced in the
spotlight to the sobs of all present. Lead singer Aaron
Hardin's wife, Traci, joined the quartet on stage singing
the missing harmony part since Bill was dancing, after she had
snapped the amazing photo shown here. It was truly a night to
remember!
The wedding was celebrated on January 25, 2003. The quartet members dusted off their tuxedos and were all part of the wedding party. The traditional toast at the reception was a singing of "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" by all present. It was a romantic evening of the highest order.
However, the quartet guys were NOT invited for the honeymoon!
