~Ale~
Gorean Ale is closer to a Honey Lager than to an ale or beer...a deep gold in colour, and brewed from the grains of Gor and hops imported from earth in the early years.
It is served in a tankard in the Palace and can be found inside a cask in the coldroom and along a wall of the servery.
~Bazi Tea~
The tea from Bazi is very much like the orange pekoe of Earth. It is an herbal beverage of leaves steeped in hot water and heavily sugared, freshly made. It is traditionally drunk from three tiny cups, one at a time, in rapid succession. Bazi tea may also be prepared as iced tea
when prepared hot bazi tea may be served in three tiny cups for the ceremony or can be served in a mug; if the tea is prepared cold serve in a goblet, you can usually find a flagon of fresh iced tea in the coldroom
Do not attempt to do the Bazi tea ceremony unless your trainer has instructed you.
Bazi Tea Ceremony
~Blackwine~
A very expensive drink made from beans grown in Thentis. It is grown on the slopes of Thentis and thought to have come from Earth on a slave acquisition run.
In the Palace blackwine is traditionally served with white and yellow sugars, rich bosk milk and in an elegant mug. A slave can find the blackwine in a large kettle hanging at the hearth. If a slave is asked to serve black wine, second slave means to serve it black, first slave means to serve with cream and sugar.
~Cho~
Hot paga sprinkled with chocolate and whipped bosk cream. Athough this drink is not specifically mentioned in the Norman books, it is preferred by many Free Women.
It is served in a mug or a kantharo. The paga kettle is hanging at the hearth
~Chocolate~
made from beans brought back on one of the early Voyages of Acquisition; grown in Tropics, sold to Cosian merchants; generally served in higher-class establishments
The powdered chocolate mix complete with the sugars needed is stored in elegant wooden box in the cupboards next to the liquor racks in the servery. Add the mix with fresh bosk milk, heat in a kettle or small pan over fires, pour into a large mug with whipped bosk cream on top and serve
~Flavored Ice~
icy drinks popular at tarn races; similar to slurpees or icees of Urth
fill a large goblet with crushed ice stirring in sugar then pour juice over the crushed ice
~Juices~
Tyros has a variety of juices: larma.. ramberry.. ta-grape etc. Tyros even has tospitade made like urth's lemonade.

~Ka-la-na~
a very potent red wine, made from the fruit of the Ka-la-na tree.. considered to be a symbol of romantic love
served in a goblet.. stored in bottles either room temperature on the racks along the wall of the servery or chilled on racks in the coldroom.
~Kal-da~
alcoholic beverage
made of ka-la-na wine and diluted with tospit and larma juices, mixed with strong spices.
ready to serve from a copper kettle hanging at the hearthfire, served in a footed bowl, crater or heavy mug, garnish with tospit, larma fruits.
~Mead~
ale, made with fermented honey, water, and spices; dark amber colour; favoured over hot paga in the north
served in a drinking horn or tankard from a cask. A cask of mead can be found to the right of the racks in the servery right next to the ale cask
~Milk~
Milk can be bosk, verr or kaiila. Bosk milk is a sweet, rich thick and creamy milk... verr milk is like goats milk of earth... kaiila milk is reddish with a salty strong taste due to the content of ferrous sulfate. There is also powdered milk available.

~Milks Curds, fermented~
requires a strong stomach; consisting of milk that has curdled and fermented; generally drunk by the Tuchuk; foul smelling~~

~Mulled Ka-la-na~
heated ka-la-na with mulling spices; usually garnished with a piece of ka-la-na fruit or tospit
preparation pour ka-la-na into a kettle, then add some mulling spices and heat over the hearthfire then serve it in a footed bowl or crater.
~Palm Wine~

rence beer is steeped, boiled, and fermented crushed seeds and the whitish pith of the rence plant

~Sa Paga~
(abbr. of Pagar-Sa-Tarna, lit.

a grain-based liquors, not distilled, and amber colored alcoholic beverage similar to whiskey; sometimes served warm; this is the drink most often served in Taverns; made from the golden sa-tarna grain; it is a symbol of physical love.

~Sul Paga~
~~alcoholic beverage made from the golden vine borne vegetable, suls; distilled, clear alcoholic beverage similar to vodka

~Ta-wine/Cosian Wine~
~~a dry wine made from Ta grapes of the Isle of Cos
served from a bottle chilled or at room temperature in goblet. Bottle are stored on wine racks either in the servery or the coldroom.
~Turian Wine/Date Wine~
~ a sweet liquor from Turia
stored either on the racks along the wall in the servery or in the coldroom. served in small glass or goblet either room temperature or chilled.
~Water~
water from the mountains or springs
serve at room temperature, chilled or with ice chips in a goblet filling the goblet with a ladle hanging from a water barrel. Water barrels can be found in the servery and in the coldroom. Poured into a bota for traveling
~White Wine~
~~a description wasn't really given in the books, just that it was a light white wine
served from a bottle in a goblet bottles can be found on the racks in the servery or on the racks in the coldroom
~Special beverages for slaves~
~breeding wine~
A sweet beverage which counteracts the effects of slavewine, making a slave girl fertile, also called second wine...it is made from the extract of the teslik plant.
served in a slave cup when the Owner wishes
~slavewine~
watered down ka-la-na that is mixed with sip root, a bitter herb, acts as a contraceptive; drunk once per month
served in a slave cup to slaves once a month by either her Master, the Palace Physician/Healer, or first girl.
