"That was only the beginning." said Minako bravely.
Daimarou glared back at her with such spite, that even Yuda and Izu were surprised. "Nobody," he spat "nobody, shoots me and gets away with it!" He shot several black bolts at her viciously, but not one of them touched her. She had used her "Bird Shield" in the nick of time. Daimarou was furious beyond imagination!
"Go, Minako, go!" cheered Riya, Shiine, Orin and Yakko together.
Yuda and Izu tried to encourage Daimarou by cheering. "Daimarou! Daimarou! He's our man! If he can't do it, no one can!" they waved their pompoms madly while shouting.
"Silence, you pathetic little imps!" he barked to his minions. Then turning his attention to Minako, he said, "Nice try! But it's not good enough!" Suddenly, the sky darkened to an eerie shade of black.
"What's going on?" cried Dorothy.
"I can't see a thing! I'm so scared Riya! Hold me!" screamed Marine, making an attempt to grab Riya. As it was so dark, she could not see a thing and grabbed Yakko instead!
"Let go of me!"
"Sorry! Where are you Riya, my darling?"
"Daimarou must have made the sky dark so we can't see a thing." observed Seravi.
"Indeed, I have! Now, to finish you once and for all!"
Minako could not see him charging at her, but her earrings warned her and so she ducked. "Now it's my turn!" she said. She pointed the arrow skywards, released it and said at the same time, "Magical Serene Arrow! Lightning Sword of the Phoenix!"
The arrow lit the entire forest as it charged up, breaking the darkness spell. Everyone looked at it with bated breath. Then, a beautiful pink bird appeared and it flew downwards, landing gracefully on her arm. Minako then commanded, "Lightning Sword of the Phoenix, Burn!" The Phoenix was instantly transformed into a short and shiny pink sword.
"Wing Sword of the Phoenix, Burn!" she screamed out as she swung the sword. An image of the Pheonix charged at Daimarou.
Seeing that he was losing, Daimarou quickly disappeared and avoided the blow. Then he said, "You
haven't heard the last of me!" Yuda and Izu quickly retreated. Everyone cheered.
Back in Tokyo...
"Oh no!" cried Cha Cha "Who is the real Cosmos?" She looked helplessly from the first Cosmos
to the next. They were both identical.
"Sailor V, I am Sailor Cosmos!" claimed the first.
"No, Sailor V, don't listen to her! I am Sailor Cosmos!" claimed the second.
"No, me!"
"Liar! I am Sailor Cosmos!"
"Oh, what should I do? If only Seravi were here. He would know what to do!" wept Cha Cha.
"You'll have to hit us both. It's the only way to make her loose her concentration! She already has your powers. She can't steal them again."
"Stop lying! You'll become even more powerful if she does that!"
"Stop pretending to be me!"
"I'm not! You're the one who's pretending!"
"Stop fighting! I need to think!"
Both of them stopped their bickering and said in unison, "Okay, whatever you say, Sailor V."
Cha Cha thought very hard. How could she expose the imposter while making sure that the real
Cosmos was safe? How could she be so sure? Should she get the cats to help? Just then, she remembered
vaguely about what Artemis said earlier, something about -
"Ah ha!" she exclaimed, "I know what to do!"
"You do?" they both asked.
"Yes, I have the answer!" With that, she took her crescent mirror, opened it and flashed it at the first Cosmos. Her reflection was not at all pretty. In fact, the ugly face belonged to -
"Sailor Parasite is back to her original form! Good thinking Sailor V!" exclaimed Cosmos. The evil sailor scout's true form was finally revealed.
"So you exposed me! Big deal! Say goodbye to Sailor Cosmos!" shrieked Sailor Parasite. She was about to call upon all the stolen powers to blast Sailor Cosmos, but Cha Cha pushed her immediately.
"Leave her alone!" she shouted, but when they touched, Parasite's skin began absorbing her powers, and she screamed. Parasite thought she had the last laugh.
'I'll have all her powers! Ha! Ha!' she thought. When she realised that she was still absorbing Cha Cha's powers, she knew that something was very, very wrong. "Huh? What's happening?! Let go of me!" she yelled. She started to expand like an inflated balloon and she felt sick.
"It's working! Don't let go, Cha Cha!" shouted Cosmos. Cha Cha felt weak but still she held on. It was something about her that was making Parasite react in a strange manner.
Sailor Parasite continued to expand uncontrollably. When it was too much for her, she screamed, "Release Powers!" Strange lights came out of her body and left her as little stars of light. Cha Cha let go of her and as she did, a little star flew into her and she felt better. Sailor Parasite scampered away from her and was not seen again.
