Erin's Note

Thank you for taking the time to read this note. This should explain a few things about the story before you read it (because as I wrote it, parts of it didn't make much sense)

1. The villain of this story is named Enchantra, but I don't refer to her as that until a third of the way through the story, when she brings Tirac and his Rainbow of Darkness back. Also until she brings Tirac back, we don't see her face. All we see are her eyes and hands.

2. I'm totally biased towards Mike Nesmith. Even so, he is not the hero. He doesn't really have much of a part in this particular piece of fanfic.

3. There are references to "My Little Pony: The Movie" at the beginning of this story, and later, "Escape from Midnight Castle."

4. Lofty's cousin, Airedale, is a pony Heather and I made up back in 1993. But back in '93, he was just Baby Lofty's cousin, and Lofty's nephew (I guess).

5. This story may not be suitable for very younger readers as there is some violence (though not much) and a Bushwoolie was fried.

6. I'm fond of movies that cut it close. This is one of those stories.

7. There is a constant theme to this story: "it's the end of Ponyland as we know it."

8. I found out Glory, Moon Dancer, and Mimic's unicorn magic, but I still haven't figured out Sparkler's. I'm just faking it in the story.

9. I've always wondered what would happen if the unicorns put all their powers together. This story is my own explanation of what would happen.

10. There's a song at the end of the story from the 1970's called "Reflections of My Life" by a group called Marmalade. There is a sound clip of it on CDNow.com if you want to hear a small sampling. Also, I'm going to change a few words to it. If you would like to see the real lyrics to the song, please scroll down.

Thank you for reading this note before reading my fanfic. Please enjoy the story.

"Reflections of My Life" by Marmalade

The Real Lyrics

The changing of sunlight to moonlight

Reflections of my life, oh, how they fill my eyes

The greetings of people in trouble

Reflections of my life, oh, how they fill my mind

All my sorrows, sad tomorrows

Take me back to my own home

All my cryings (all my cryings), feel I'm dying, dying

Take me back to my own home (oh I'm going home)

I'm changing, arranging, I'm changing

I'm changing everything, ah, everything around me

The world is a bad place, a bad place

A terrible place to live, oh, but I don't wanna die

All my sorrows, sad tomorrows

Take me back to my own home

All my cryings (all my cryings), feel I'm dying, dying

Take me back to my own home (oh I'm going home)

(repeat until fade)
