Christie clicked the Internet Explorer Icon. She sat back and waited as the browser window displayed its homepage. She typed down the address, which she knew by heart and pressed the Enter key. Within a few seconds a page was displayed on the screen - the My Little Pony Website, owned by a die-hard fan. She briefly scanned through the contents and could hardly believe her eyes when she read this:-
Good news! My Little Pony is coming back! At last!
She laughed. So her effort had finally been paid off. Christie had been an avid fan of "My Little Pony" ever since she was a child. The beautiful and adorable four legged toys had captured the hearts of the children around the world with their charm. Who could resist their warm eyes, their sweet, rosy cheeks, chubby bodies or their soft, silky hair? To gaze at one was a magical experience.
But then they disappeared mysteriously in 1992. Many of them wondered why and cried
that the world lost something so pure and innocent. Some thought, "They'll come back
again." They came back again but left even quicker. Many had already lost hope that they
will ever return but few determined youths built websites and signed petitions to keep
the pony spirit alive and to convince the Company to make more. It worked.
Christie eagerly wrote an e-mail letter and sent it to friends. Unknown to Christie, a
mysterious group was watching her every move.
"Could she be our champion?" asked one.
"Maybe," replied another "we'll just have to wait and see."
