"What do we do now?" Fire Fly asked. "The Rainbow of Light was our last resort."
The four went inside and told the others of the Rainbow's defeat. The ponies began to worry.
"Now there's no way to stop the eternal darkness," Medley said. "We'll never defeat Tirac or Enchantra without the Rainbow of Light."
"Never say never, Medley," Airedale replied. "It's always darkest before the dawn! Every dark cloud has a silver lining! When life deals you lemons, make lemonade!"
"All right, Confucius, we get the point," Lofty groaned. "But that doesn't solve our problems."
"Paradise, can't you remember anything about how to defeat Enchantra?" North Star asked.
"I think it has something to do with unicorn magic," Paradise said. "But I can't remember exactly what."
"That helps a little," Gusty said.
"Maybe we should head over to Midnight Castle and try to defeat Tirac and Enchantra using our own wits and stuff," Fizzy said.
"That's a good idea," Megan said. "All the unicorns come with us. Paradise, you too, just in case you remember how unicorn magic can defeat Enchantra."
"I want to come too," Fire Fly said.
"Me too," Magic Star said.
The Monkees, Wind Whistler, Fire Fly, Lofty, Medley, Airedale, North Star, Heart Throb, Sky Dancer, Bow Tie, and Apple Jack joined the crew. A couple of the Baby Ponies wanted to come as well.
"We help, too!" Baby Lofty shouted.
"Pretty please?" Baby Cuddles asked.
"We never get to have adventure," Baby Moon Dancer said.
"Okay," Megan said. "But only a couple of you Baby Ponies can come with us."
"Hooray!" the Baby Ponies shouted.
Ember, Baby Moon Dancer, Baby Ribbon, and Baby Lofty went with the Midnight Castle crew. The other ponies were told to stay behind and take care of Mike. Peter left candles and a box of matches with Danny for light.
"Hopefully we'll be able to defeat those two and stop Eternal Darkness," Micky said.
"We're counting on you," Cupcake said to the crew as they walked off, Sparkler leading the way. "Mike's life depends on it!"
"Don't worry, Cupcake!" Fire Fly said. "We won't let you or Mike down!"
Megan, the Monkees, and the Ponies disappeared into darkness, on their way to Midnight Castle.
"I hope so," Cupcake said, and she walked back into the cave.
