·        Law of Individual Sovereignty

Each natural being is granted, by Nature, to live as a subject to on one with one's natural rights to fully intact and have to right to choose one's government.  This Natural Law is enacted in part within West of Eden's democratic government and the ability for a citizen, for any reason he/she so chooses, to leave the community without hindrance or punishment.

·        Law of Self-Ownership

Each natural being is granted, by Nature, with the ability to control one's own body.  With the exception of Nature itself, anyone who choose to transgress the Law of Self-Ownership, such as through rape, murder, or the forcing of another's will, are in violation of the Law of Self-Ownership and therefore liable for expulsion from the West of Eden community.

·        Law of Defense

It is the natural inclination and duty of a natural being to protect oneself against violation of his/her natural law.  This defense extends to any kind of security one deems necessary as long as it does not directly threaten or harm uninvolved parties.

·        Freedom of Thought and Expression-

Each natural being is granted, by Nature, the ability to express oneself in all forms of communication, so long in doing so does not transgress other natural laws expressed therein

Being respectful and mindful of each inhabitant's personal independence and life choice, the laws of West of Eden are unusually few by the standards of traditional outside culture. We enjoy an unusual amount of personal freedom and moral discretion when working about their everyday lives when contrasted with the piles of laws and regulations imposed by the governments of other democracies.

The basic laws of West of Eden revolve around the upholding of what many of our politicians refer to as "Natural Law."  Such Natural Laws seem immanent in nature and are, in many ways, mere common sense.  Below is an example of some of the Natural Laws adopted into West of Eden legislative law.
