The World Is Waiting...Go! (Season premiere) | The reality series in which 11 two-member teams compete for $1 million in a thrilling race around the world returns for a second edition. "The competition this time around is a lot tighter," says host Phil Keoghan. "It is very competitive all the way through and builds to a truly sensational finish." The teammates (most are friends, couples or relatives) begin their quest in Las Vegas and learn of their first stop: Rio de Janeiro. Last year, the teams traveled 35,000 miles in 31 days. To be here right now and not know which team is going to run up first and collect the money.' " At press time, the pairs still in the hunt are lifelong friends Chris and Alex, brother-sister combo Blake and Paige, separated couple Tara and Wil, and best friends Oswald and Danny.
