SMK Seafield through Time Se : 4

Then...

From another point of view in the past , you can see the wide open grassy field together with the construction debris of the school. The concrete bricks and the scaffoldings are located at the east end of block Anggun .A barren path leading towards the Agricultural Workshop from the canteen can be seen near the rubble of concrete bricks.

If you look  straight ahead at the center of the picture , you can see Jalan Jengka stretching towards the horizon. At that time ,there was a short-cut linking Subang Jaya with UJS 2.There are also stalls near the short cut. The Kesas highway at this time is non-existant.

Now..

After 6 years , the scenery has changed dramatically. A primary school and the basket ball court has taken the place of the previously grassy field. The rubble that was around block Anggun has disappeared. Taking it's place is a water tank , a place to wash hands and a system of drains to drain rainwater. The area that was barren in the past is now covered with grass.

What about the short-cut? The short-cut was sealed off after the construction of the Kesas Highway that sweeps right through Subang Jaya was completed some time after the 1994 picture was taken. An overhead pedestrian bridge now stands at the exact spot where the short-cut used to be.
