Advice to Good Christian Children

There are no sep'rate souls to save,
No self to hide beyond the grave;
The body's not the spirit's slave,

No measurements of least or best,
No gilded crowns upon them rest;

There are no rules within a book;
They'll find no truth who always look;
This world is not God's fishing hook;

There is a world beyond this one;
There's more to do when we are done,
So live your time beneath the sun;
