We live in an apartment Hotel in Shibuya, Tokyo.
We have a studio on the 10th floor with 2 beds, a
desk, a table and chair set, and a couch.
The apartment also has a small bathroom and toilet. The toilet is actually pretty nice.
It has a built-in bidet (For those who don't know what a bidet is ... A bidet is a water
fountain to clean your behind). Seems funny at first, but we both are really beginning to
like it!
There is a separate shower room which has a combined bathtub and shower. The tub is short
but deep and great for bubblebaths up to your neck and knees at the same time! Because the
shower is outside the tub, you can splatter all you want and add more hot water when it
gets cold because the overflow drains directly into the shower area.
In the
kitchen there is a small washer and dryer, a small fridge, and a microwave. We have only
one burner on our stove. Although there was already some kitchenware, we went to a 100 Yen
store (so called because each item costs 100 yen) and bought some more stuff to make
ourselves at home.
This is Trip cooking in our small, little kitchen.
