Ever wonder what the The Zeta Project would be like if it was cross with a different show? The results could be interesting...
Rurouni Kenshin- The same show, but set in 1890 Tokyo. Bucky gets beat up a lot more.
Les Misérables- The same show, but set in 1780 Paris. Oh, and Bucky gets shot and killed.
Pretty Soldier Sailormoon- Ro becomes even more of a main character while Zee is slowly reduced to Token Male status. The main pair fight a new (and decidedly stupid) enemy every episode. Every time Zee changes appearance, a 30 second stock footage sequence begins.
The Odyssey- Everybody talks in an extremely formal style to each other. Ro and Zee know exactly where Dr Selig is, but it takes them 20 years to get there. Meg is actually an evil sorceress. Bennet has the power to completely control the oceans, but only notices our heroes when they accidentally eat his pet. Bucky is turned into a pig.
Teletubbies- All the characters know a maximum of three words. Showing facts about random 20th century items two times in a row becomes a major part of the show. IU7 beeps and chases the main characters around. Rush tells stories in a stupid hat.
Pokémon- Ex-killer synthoids: Gotta Catch 'em all!
Fushigi Yuugi (The Mysterious Play)- All the male characters are in their mid 20s and really good looking. Ro is the main center of attention with multiple romantic rivals, but she remains true to Zee. It is revealed that the entire story takes place within an ancient Chinese fanfic.
Mystery Science Theatre 3000- Ro, Zee, and Bucky are stuck in a satellite and forced to watch vids of B-Grade 20th century sci-fi movies. Wacky hijinks ensue.
Kate & Leopold- Ro is the modern teenage girl from 2040 and Zee is the time traveling chivalrous synthoid from 2001. Hmm, that's not quite right...
Richard Simmons' Workout Video- Everyone in spandex. Everyone.
Powerpuff Girls- Everyone is drawn in chibi style. New superpowers are often revealed during the daily fight scenes. Bennet speaks in highly repetitive sentences. Dr Selig is actually the narrator.
Cowboy Beebop- (Submitted by Idres) Zeta is a freelance bounty hunter cyborg out searching for Dr. Eli Selig who is somehow connected to him by his past, but no one really knows except for flashbacks. Ro hooks up with him after he orginial tries to collect the bounty on her head. Bucky is actually Buckmiester Odwalla Buenosaries the 3rd, and constantly acts like he's on a sugar high. Bennet is a Crime Lord who Zeta used to work for but quit, and now wants Zeta's butt. Terry McGinnis is a former cop with an odd penchant for cooking and bonsai trees.
Appleseed- (Submitted by Idres) After the devasting World War III that annahilated most of the earths population, several huge city states now dominate the world, trying to get people out from the "badlands". Rosalie Knute and her partner Zeta Briareros are two mercenaries brought from the badlands to Olympus, a city mostly populated by bioroids, by Bucky, a naive clone. Lots of Fight scenes!

Chobits- (Submitted by Idres) Rosalie Rowan, a cram school student, finds out about persocons, computers shaped like humans, that are the latest fad. When walking home from school one day, she finds a male persocon at a trash pick up site, and takes him home. After he's rebooted, all he can say is "Zee...", but learns quickly to speak and help out, but he may be one of the mysterious "Synthiod" persocons. Chaos insues.
Ghost in the Shell- (Submitted by Idres) Same story, except everyone is cyborgs, and wearing tight, revealing clothing. Instead of holograms, Zeta can become invisible, but only after taking off all his clothes. IU7 constantly tries to blow things up, and usually someone dies violently each ep.
Ebichu the housekeeping hamster- (Submitted by Idres) Zeta is a house keeping robot constantly trying to help out his master, office working Ro who is very lonely. Lots of sex, bloody noses and panties. So naughty even Japanese television bans it.
Excel Saga- Zee is an energetic young synthoid working for a mysterious organization called 'The Zeta Project'. Ro is his partner who just happens to keel over and die several times per episode. Bucky is kept around only as an emergency food supply. For reasons that no one understands, Bennet now sports an enormous afro.
