Prologue: The
Return
In
a place unknown and untouched by humans, there was nothing, then there was
light. A light created of several lights, each light a different color. Each light
ranging differently on the spectrum, from vivid blue to dark gray, pink to
green. Yet each light seemed to possess a life of its own. One of the brighter
lights approached a sea-green blue light, which hovered by itself.
Its time to go back now. A sense of urgency was radiated from the
white-gold light.
Like
a battle-worn veteran, the sea-green light was ready to leave. You know, when I first got here, I wanted to
go home. Now, it paused, I’m not
sure. It fluctuated with confusion
and despair.
If you don’t want to go, you don’t have to.
It’s up to you. The white-gold light silently hoped that the
other would go, but said nothing.
The
sea-green light thought about it briefly, fluctuating its color. I have a lot to do there, don’t I? It paused as if pursuing a train of
thought. Then it solidified determinedly.
I’m going, there’s too much unsaid
between us. Do I have time to say goodbye to them? Seeing the other’s light darken, it sighed. Very well, lets go. Will I be able to come
back?
Of course, just have faith in yourself and
in Him. The white light
reassured the other, then concentrated
briefly.
The
sea-green light briefly fluctuated to a pure green. I’m ready, just tell the others good-bye for me.
The
white-gold light acknowledged the remark, than began the Cleansing.
The green blue
light darkened, then became black, then a kaleidoscope of colors. Slowly the
sea-green light was cleansed of its calm light. Only a creamy white color
remained, but tingles of sea-green still crackled through the white. The
white-gold light was pleased that not all traces of green were erased and Sent
up a message of affirmation. The light disappeared, leaving the white light
alone. Then a blue white light came to float next to the white-gold one.
I hope you know what you are doing. What if
you are wrong? The blue
light radiated calm and anxiety at the same time. A sadness also fluctuated
through the blue aura.
What choice do we have? He couldn’t stay,
not with so much undone and unfinished. Its better to get things out of the
way. The white light
sighed. I know you care about your
brother, but he wanted to go back. All
we can do is pray and wait. You can join him if you want to.
The blue-white light acknowledged the other light and floated away. Several thoughts ran through its mind and its color changed to sky blue, than to violet blue. Finally the blue-white color stabilized and the light made up its mind. Good luck, Louis. Wait up for me. It whispered and disappeared in flash of light.
