Character Name: Geary Maza.
Name Meaning: Geary is English
for “changeable” while Maza is short for Mazahir, an Arabic name meaning “exteriors” or
“appearances.” Seeing he’s not going to be Arabic, I made it more…erm…not-Arabic sounding? o__o Strung together it means, say it with me,
“changeable exteriors.” ^o^

Anyway, age…needed to be old enough to be immersed in college and whatnot…uhm…as far as the astrological stuff, let’s see if I can’t pick out a few characteristics.
Aquarius is the unpredictable force of nature who wakens us to new possibilities. He is the brief
inspiration of lightning, who surprises even himself
with his sudden insights. The only sure thing about Aquarius is his
independence and unpredictability. He is drawn to novelty like a magnet, and
loves reaching out to touch every person or thing that fascinates with its
newness. He is famous for his spontaneity.
Moon in Pisces is a very sensitive soul. His reaction in emotional situations is either to hide, or to sympathize and give in. He's not likely to fight as he has a tendency to merge energy with others, taking on their feelings.

HAIR: Very messy and cut somewhat short and scraggly. O__o It actually lays somewhere by his chin, but he usually keeps it up in a high widdle messy ponytail that just somewhat puffs due to the end of his hair being there. His hair is also a light tan, like the color of dead leaves. ^__^
EYES: Geary’s eyes are almost prismatic in a sense. They range anywhere from a light blueish-green to a muddy brown, usually depending on the type of mood or colors he’s surrounded by. For the most part, though, they stay pretty much in the middle with a hazel color, but have been known to change slightly from time to time.
FACIAL DETAILS: In all seriousness, there is nothing particularly special about Geary. His face, which is slim with a smile that seems to say “I know something you don’t know,” is one that you could loose in even a small group of people. Basically he has the kind of face that would make you say “Hey…it’s that guy…” or “I think I know him from somewhere…” but you’re never quite sure from where, if at all! o__o;;
BODY: Geary is slim yet it looks like he could hold his own. In other words, you could probably take him, but he can pack a punch if need be. Again, he’s really indistinguishable from most other active 19 year old boys. Nothing really stands out, and nothing is really particularly special about him. ^__^;;
CARRIAGE: Geary stands around 5’10” and usually has a somewhat sneaky stance. He does stand with good posture quite often, but enjoys skulking in the shadows, as it were. He’s really good at going by someone unnoticed when he wants to and would probably not even be noticed while doing a Kronk-like scurry. He also seems very confident in himself and in what he’s doing.
VOICE: As far as his actual voice goes, it’s very light and almost seems to float on by as a high tenor and is almost musical. But Geary is not limited to the relaxed voice he was born with. He is a wiz at impersonations, as it were. Things such as “Hello, I’m Mr. Moviephone!” or the moive preview guy: “He sold tortillas on the corner, and the mob wanted in…” It’s really amazing hearing his voice get that deep as well. o__o
STYLE: Geary’s wardrobe is very diverse. He has anything from preppy to grungy and everything in-between. So you can imagine he has a lot of clothes. o__o He can also dress himself in any of those genres and somehow look really really good while doing it, almost as if that’s just /HIS/ style. O_o Well, they’re all his styles. ^__^ But he doesn’t usually carefully plan “Okay, I’m going to look EMO today, so I need these pants and…dangit, where are those sunglasses?!” Oh no. Basically, he’s a guy. And a guy that doesn’t usually go and find a handful of quarters to do laundry. So he’ll pick up off the floor whatever smells the closest to springtime freshness and coordinate from there. ^o^
Bloodtype: O. I chose O because of lots of the characteristics and yadda yadda… ^__^ A few are as
follows: conscious of power relationship, know how to take chances, realistic
judgment and action, strong fellow feeling, extremely cautious to non-fellows,
prefer individualistic things, and expressive.
Likes:
Fairs/conventions: And only certain ones, such as the ones you dress up for. This is just like Halloween. ^__^ Basically, it gives him a chance to dress in costume, and who’s going to give up that chance! Not me! Especially since Halloween only comes one day a year, you’ve got to find more ways to vent your costume wearing need. :B
Magic tricks: Geary has always been a fan of the slight of hand. He’s been trying to pick up on a few tricks over the years and so far he knows a few card tricks, finding various coins in people’s appendages, and a couple of those ball under the cup tricks. It’s not much, just enough for someone to be entertained, mainly Geary. He also thought he was pretty good at making his veggies disappear in his napkin as a kid. XD;;
Bugs: Oh man, bugs are cool like woah. He was one of those kids who would sit outside on the sidewalk in the middle of summer with a trail of ants and a magnifying glass. Hell, he even has a pretty good sized bug collection at home too, a lot of them butterflies, but many other bugs as well such as beetles and whatnot, and all he’s caught himself. He’d be a bug catcher in the Pokémon game. XD
Dislikes:
Being singled out: Geary likes having people’s attention, and even seeks it out on a regular basis, but doesn’t like it when a room of, say, 50 people are watching him and only him. That’s just kind of creepy, not to mention he couldn’t really get away with anything real easy like, could he? It’s harder to slip away unnoticed when…well, everyone’s watching. >__< So it’s almost as if his security blanket was taken away from him since he has no means of a quiet escape. o__o It’s almost like too much of a good thing.
Getting caught: Oh man, this is the worst feeling in the world, especially when he’s doing something he’s not supposed to. It doesn’t matter if he should or shouldn’t be somewhere or if he’s doing something he’s supposed to or not, the feeling is still the same. He almost has the need to curl up in the shadows until the person goes away.
Snapdragon: It’s not so much that he doesn’t like her, it’s just that she seems to be the only one he can’t
fool or hide from, and that frustrates him to no end. For all he knows, she
could be the sweetest girl on the block, but Kinyonga
hasn’t gotten past the fact that Snapdragon can find him easier than he’d like
and actually tries harder not to be spotted because of her. Also, if Geary was to
pass Case on the street, he’d probably get a feeling he’d need to make himself
more “invisible” for some reason, as if he doesn’t want to be seen by her. o_o “Don’t
look at me with those eyes!” >__<
Real winter: The reason he moved across the bridge to Adelard. Don’t get me wrong, he likes snow and all as much
as the next person, but
Hobbies:
Bug catching: Where do you think his bug collection came from? Seriously, though, Geary will go out with his net and perhaps a few jars and go collecting some fine specimens on the weekends. Even if he’s not going to keep them, it’s still fun to do anyway. ^o^
Sneaking off to do something: It’s not so much that this is a hobby, but more like he just does this all the time without really realizing it most of the time. Some classmate could be talking to him, turn his back for a second, and boom! he’s suddenly across the room looking at something else. o__o He just kind of has this knack of going someplace without being noticed.
Personality:
First thing you might want to note is that Geary likes being part of a crowd. That being said, I should also express that he doesn’t like to be the center of attention. Enjoys the company of people, just not all at once. ^__^;; He likes to be social, really he does, he just tends to be somewhat distant a lot of times, as if he’s just kind of off in his own little world. Basically he retreats into himself like this when he gets really uncomfortable around people and just kind of hopes they’ll go away. ^__^;;; He’d much rather be around people and not be noticed at all, then be around people and have everyone watch him. o__o
Geary also doesn’t have many friends. Why? Well, he can’t stay around the same person for long periods of time without being just really creeped out and, for lack of a better word, “ookie” feeling. It just makes him feel uncomfortable being around the same person ALL the time and quite often needs his space to retreat to. This is why the concept of having seasonal friends worked really well while growing up. He only saw them for short periods of time before one of them would have to go somewhere with their family or do chores. Plus, if they only saw each other once a year, they could catch up in small intervals without either of them getting sick of each other. He does have many “acquaintances,” but they’re more like the “I’ll go to your party and get you a nice card” kind of people. ^__^;;
But, since Geary is just a nice guy like that, he’ll help out his friends, comrades, teammates, the guy next door etc. with any way that he knows how. He basically just does things for other people that make them say “That Geary is a really nice kid.” ^__^;; Though he believes that one good deed deserves another, he needs that little pat on the head or favor in return to keep him going. ^__^;;
While Geary chills with his bad self, he usually likes to do his bug thing. Catch ‘em, read about them, or just plain look at them. Hell, he even has a Discovery Channel tape on the life of the gnat. Good god… -__-;; Seriously, he’s buggy about bugs. They’re just the coolest things ever. o__o He’s just a bottomless pit of hunger when it comes to anything about bugs. Geary’s also not one of those “save the housefly!” weirdos. If a bug is being a pest, by all means get rid of it, he doesn’t care. They’re still cool even if they are a nuisance. He also wants to get money for catching bugs. That would be his dream job, even if it might be a little difficult to accomplish. ^__^;;
As is characteristic of all fauna, Geary is no different and is quite the sly one. Or at least he tries to be. XD;; He enjoys being sneaky and skulking off in the shadows sometimes. He likes putting himself on the edge, aka: poking his nose where it doesn’t belong, especially when there’s a high risk of being caught. It gives him a rush like you wouldn’t believe. It’s almost as if it was an X-TREME sport or something. XD;; He likes putting himself in the position that would set him up to get in trouble without…getting in trouble. o__o;;
He also finds that while he likes to sit and observe things where his nose doesn’t belong, he’d much rather sit and observe things where his nose doesn’t belong in the middle of the action. Example: He’d much rather be looming over someone’s shoulder and listening to their conversation than somewhere close by, trying to overhear. XB But seriously, he likes to be there when it’s happening, rather than hear someone else’s account of it. It’s just more interesting that way.
But really, he’s just kind of a cheery guy who likes to help people out, usually because he has nothing better to do, really. XD;; I mean as much as the boy loves bugs and sneaking off into crowds of people, there’s only so much you can do before you need to occupy your time with doing something somewhat productive every once and a while. X3 But if things get hot and he’s needed there in a pinch, Geary is one who will rarely hesitate and just charge into the fray. This often causes problems as he doesn’t really take the time to really think things through. This is about the time where he thinks he can sneak off and no one be the wiser, when in actual fact, they’re following him. >__< Great jeaorb. He also doesn’t like to take responsibility for his actions. He’d much rather just get in trouble and then leave and have someone else deal with cleanup. ^__^;;
And as one final note, Geary likes, well, not being himself. ^__^;; Sure, he thinks he’s great and all, but when he’s given the chance, he likes to go around as someone else for a change. This probably why Halloween is his favorite holiday. He can walk around for a whole day, pretending to be someone else AND get candy? Man, best-holiday-evar. Also, when Geary’s in costume, he doesn’t just throw on cat ears and pin on a tail and look! Costume! He goes full out, so basically you don’t know who it is. The simplest costume was probably a bed sheet ghost. But it just gives him more opportunity to prance around without anyone taking notice who’s there. ^__^ IN COSTUME! ^o^
Summary: Nice kid, likes crowds but doesn’t like being the focus point of the group. Also can’t be around the same person for extended periods of time before he just kind of spaces out. A little bug crazy, likes skulking around in the shadows and was probably one of the kids who would sneak out after midnight. e__e;; Also doesn’t take responsibility for his actions. X__x He likes to help people out, but does like them to help him every once and a while, and <3 to costumes. To Geary, snooping and sneaking where he doesn’t belong is X-TREME! :o
History:
Geary was a normal child, born to two somewhat young
parents in
But Geary would get into all sorts of trouble, and catch bugs, and run around the house, and do just normal kid things. Yay!
So anyway, time went by, Geary grew up, and things really
didn’t change much. He still gets in trouble, catches bugs, and runs around the
house, even if it’s more productive these days. It came time for Geary to go to
college and decided to stay somewhat local, as in the state of Maine. He
finally decided on
So uhm…yeah…that’s about it. ^__^ I know you’re all excited. He’s just a normal kid and isn’t really special compared to other normal kids. He’d be kinda hard to pick out of a crowd again, even just based on his childhood. ^__^;
NPCs: Phoebe and Abe Maza: Geary’s mother and
father! :D Phoebe is the type of person who would open her house to anyone. (and she does! XD;;) She feels like
everyone’s mother and treats them as such, and usually calls her charges by
cute little diner waitress names, such as “sugar” or “hun”
or “darling” or even the ever popular “sweetie.” She’s really quite sweet, but,
as all mothers do (especially after the handful that is Geary) she can and will
put her foot down when needed. It’s not wise to cross her, for she can make you
feel miserable and isn’t above “time outs.” XD;;;
Abe on the other
hand is more chummy. While he does do quite the share
of the chores around the B&B, he acts more like one of the regulars at a
store, usually talking about local things with the customers, such as local
teams, weather, who’s doing what and so on. He pretty
much knows, or thinks he knows, everything that goes on around town and some of
the surrounding areas, and is more than willing to share his knowledge of said
places, even if nobody wants to hear about it. X3;;
Part III: Senshi Information
Special Skills:
Mr. Moviephone: XD;; Okay, well he’s really good at imitating voices. He can reach the depth of Don, the movie preview guy and has even been mistaken to be someone from out of the country before. Now mind you he’s limited to mostly male voices, and things such as accents could probably be told to be fake by actual natives, but he can do a mean surfer. XB;;
Mr. Cellophane: He seems to have this skill of not being noticed and it’s really easy for him to blend into a crowd of people. He might look like someone you knew once or something, but you never quite know from where, if you notice him at all. He’s just one of those wallflowers that people pass by, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. ^__^
Tree climbing: He’s actually quite good. ^__^ On top of that, he has about as much trouble getting down as he does getting up. This probably has to do with the fact that he has really good grip. No really. This probably has to do with the fact that the trees around the bed and breakfast his family owns were just easy to climb with low branches, hence he would use them to escape the parental units, hence he would learn how to hang on really good. ^__^
Transformation:
“Kinyonga Fauna Power!” Geary raises his henshin item, a dried, curled chameleon tail (on his keychain no less) and closes his eyes. A multitude of colors swarm around Geary and stick to him as if someone dropped a whole lot of paint in front of a high powered industrial fan. o__o As the layer of painted color blows away, revealing Kinyonga in full uniform, a sound of many voices, much like someone scanning on a radio, is heard. When it becomes silent again, Kinyonga is there, left hand resting on his hip while his right hand is holding the goggles on top of his head.
Colors:
Kinyonga steals all the colors and calls them his very own. e__e
Symbol:
This one was quite difficult to find, I tell you what. The best I could find was this symbol meaning “I change or transform my life,” which kinda runs hand in hand with chameleons changing and all… e__e;; It’s a five pointed star all colored in except for a large dot in the middle. Surrounding the star is a circle with, the best way I could describe it is like a fringe or drops kinda like a mane on the outside of the circle. It looks pretty cool, but, kinda cracktified at the same time. o_O
Fuku/Costume:
Whoo boy…where to start? Okay, on top of Kinyonga’s head are a pair of goggles. They’re thick and green with reddish-orange vertical stripes on them and they’re connected by a brown elastic strap. Oh his face are six light blue stripes, three on each cheek at a slight angle pointing toward the bridge of his nose, which sports a reddish-orange stripe going from just above the tip of his nose to his forehead.
Now, clothing. Underneath everything is a light tan outfit consisting of slacks and a long sleeved shirt with a high asian-style collar. In one light the outfit looks to be it’s tan color, while in other lights, usually bright ones, it shines a multitude of colors, such as reds, greens, blues, yellows and so on. On his feet he wears a pair of cream colored, soft soled, lace-less ankle boots. On top of his outfit is a cloak/cape of some sort with a large hood that hangs down his back. It is a very light and translucent material and colored the same as bubble solution might be. Finally, on top of that rests a dickie (not attached to the cloak) which is a Kelly-green in color with reddish-orange piping around the edge. It has a high sloped collar and goes to the edge of his shoulders and down right above his chest in the front and just below his shoulder blades in the back. It is held closed in the center by the curled chameleon tail. Nothing real fancy. You know…if people ran around in color changing materials, face paint, goggles and capes… e__e

Weapon:
An invisibility cloak. o__o No, seriously. Kinyonga has an invisibility cloak which he wears as a cape on his fuku. It’s a thin gauzy material and kind of looks like a soap or oil film with a rainbow of colors and looks as if it would be just as fragile. Now, his cloak doesn’t exactly make him “invisible”, per say. He first needs to take it off of his shoulders and wrap it around himself like…well, a cloak, or as if it was a nice a fuzzy blanket. The cloak then allows him to blend in with his surroundings, not turn invisible, just harder to see. It’s almost like a cloaking device (no pun intended XD) used for planes in sci-fi movies. All you could see of him would be a faint outline of his body and when looking through him, the objects on the other side would look slightly distorted. Kinyonga can use his weapon for long periods of time and he uses it a LOT. He has gotten caught many times in the past, but somehow either manages to hide again or just runs like hell. XD;;
Powers/Attacks:
Sequestered Appearance: Kinyonga rips off his cloak and tosses it up in the air. It then lazily floats back down and covers him, including his left arm, which is still high in the air from the toss. As it settles on top of Kinyonga, the cloak starts to dissolve and continue to move down to the ground where it disappears. What’s left is someone else, leaving the people who even watched him change wonder where Kinyonga went to.
Uhm…yeah. ^__^;; Basically what this attack does is change Kinyonga’s outward appearance to everyone else and give the dumfounded sparklies to everyone who watched him. So they’re just really really confused. o__o And what does he look like? Well, it all depends on the situation, really. He can look like anyone from a 90 year old woman to an 8 year old boy. The drawback to this attack is, besides the fact that he doesn’t actually attack anything, he’s the same size he always was, even if you can’t see that.
Example: say he turns into the 8 year old boy. He’s walking away and there’s a low branch. The 8 year old would be able to pass underneath it with no problem, seeing there’s a foot above him, but would duck low anyway, because Kinyonga would have to duck in order to avoid the branch. You might also notice if he’s stepping on something like grass or snow or just something soft, the foot prints would be a whole lot bigger than any 8 year olds I know.
This attack can be used a number of times, but once he’s been found out, or thinks he has been, he won’t use it until perhaps the next battle, if need be. Again, he uses this to pass through undetected, but if you pay attention to the little things, it’s more than obvious it’s not real.
Animal-esque: As an animal, Kinyonga is…a regular ole’ chameleon, a little over a foot long with his tail uncurled. It just works better than “Let’s escape under cover of day in the largest car in the county.” He looks just like a regular Ambilobe chameleon, whose colors can range from muted browns, tans and greens to bright vibrant rainbows. It’s probably the type of chameleon most people are familiar with, having a small crest on the top of their head and the wide range of colors. Now, I’m not quite sure why he’d suddenly go “oop, I’m out of here” and go to chameleon form, because…they’re not very fast runners, and they’re not exactly the most common of lizards, especially in Maine, fictional city or not. o__o;;; There are no true chameleons native to the US and not many people own them as pets, so he’d have to do some fast talking of why he’s there, and wouldn’t you know it, no one understands chameleon. I suppose he could hiss and snap at someone, or try to get to a bush or tree and hide. He basically uses this when he needs to get into small places and hide out to watch the goings on. You know. Spy stuff. :o But he can’t stay in this form for long and will usually have to slither off somewhere to change back, less he get caught.
Uber Desperation!
Herd: Kinyonga only uses this when he’s…well…uber desperate. XD;; Basically it’s when he thinks he can’t sneak away without it. Somehow he calls forth a great load of chameleons. Where they come from is anyone’s guess. Maybe a magical rock broke the cages in an exotic reptile store. ^__^;; Anyway, Kinyonga is then left to become his chameleon-y self and scurry away into a tree or something to hide while everyone wonders where all these uncommon lizards came from. o__o He basically relies on the confusion and hopes no one will pick him out of the crowd of his color-changing brethren.
Random kicking and punching: Yeah…because Kinyonga doesn’t have any real ATTACKS. He could probably hold his own in a bar fight, but he basically just doesn’t choose to get into a friendly brawl with someone unless it’s necessary. I’m not sure how well he’d be able to just run up and kick a flora in the shins, but he probably wouldn’t be doing too much of that anyway. ^__^;;
Part IV: Additional Information

Because you need just that much more translucent material. e__e And the goggles look like eyes…EYES! O__O
Experience:
:D I’m currently in four pbems, waiting for results for two, and my half elven wizard is a level 14 and has bulletproof goo! o__o No seriously. It’s even purple and shiny and lives on her arm. ^o^
Miscellaneous:
In the past, Kinyonga hasn’t exactly been on the best of terms with a certain flora. *coughsnapdragoncough* He always has to watch himself around her, for she somehow has the uncanny sense of finding him and he would not want her to be involved in a friendly game of hide-and-seek. Her spidey-sense is just too powerful. ;__;
But seriously, when poking around and doing his “spy stuff”, if Snapdragon was there, she’d most definitely find him and whoops! >__< Score one for the flora.
