Club aims:

The Club is a non-profitable organization with the aim to help the HK 206 owners to learn and understand their cars.  Car enthusiastic of the Peugeot 206 will come and join us and share their knowledge of their cars like I have for this site.  The Club plans to congregate the local 206 owners to form an association of owners.  With this we are able to share and exchange information on the 206 covering all aspects of the car from cleaning, modifications, driving to problem solving.  The Club is also able to provide it's members discounts at selected stores for parts and accessories.  As the Club starts to grow so will the advantages for the Club members.

The club license has been approved.

Joining the 206 Club:

If any 206 owner would like to join the club all you have to do is pick up an application form from Lion Motors.  The application form will then be forwarded the Club who will in turn process your application.  There will be an initial joining and annual subscription fee to be announced once confirmed.  This fee is used to run the Club for the monthly newsletters, Club stickers, stationary and other related Club expenses.  All committee members of the Club help in their spare time, none of us get a salary or any special benefits. 

First meeting:

The first meeting of the official 206 club was held on the 20/05/2000 in Yuen Long which was organized by Lion Motors, HK.  The turn out from just two days prior notice brought out around thirty 206 lovers.  The colour range from the car was vast with nearly all colours showing up but mainly grey and black dominating the scene.

Apart from owners of the 206 coming to the show, partners of Incapemotors also turned up and even the manager came along too.  Very nice of Johnny to come along and speak to the customers about their beloved cars.  Also there was WK Racing who drove their black show car along with Albert’ lovely silver number.  They were the attention of the meeting with everyone asking Albert about his car and WK for modification work on their cars! 

The purpose of the first meeting from my point of view was to associate with other 206 owners to exchange contact details and vote for the committee members.  Committee members were elected were; Alan, Andy, Andrew, Charles, Derek, Edith, James, Matthew, Mickey, Man and Wai.  The purpose of our group is to gather and process the views and opinions of the owners to what they would like to do on a typical outing day.  Response on the day was based towards BBQ’s, cruises, track day, topics on modifications and more.  So far the next committee meeting will be held on the 28/05/2000 to finalize details for the club establishment.  Details to be posted later.
