Japanese anime is animated shows or movies released in japam before being released in the US or other countries. Japanese anime is also known as Japanime or just anime. Unlike american animated shows, anime is released as a manga, or japanese comic, before deciding to release as a animated feature. Many cartoons played in the US such as Transformers, Dragonball, and Sailor moon are examples of japanese anime. It is unsure when anime was first releasd in the US, but people has said that they have seen Anime as early as the early 1980's. Many Americans today are hesitant or against the idea of releasing Japanese anime due to the fact of its high violence and nudity content. Eventhough many releasers are censoring anime, fans of anime wants uncensored versions as well. |
