Only those with the will of a god are able to lift the giant blade The blade is grafted from pure poison crystal and upon contact with the bloodstream it instantly sends poison coursing through the veins of its victim. The blade was found in an abandonned hovel on the northern ridge of the Forest of time. The previous owner was a half elf named Buthar. Buthar was a blacksmith apprentice that enjoyed working with crystal becasue ti was such a challenge to forge. his first masterpeice was the Pionsa and it was also his last. Upon finishing the great sword, he failed to pick it up properly and it landed onhim, slicing him clean in two. The apprentice died a horrible death and was given a great funeral in the court yard of the castle fo the elements. When the tree of life gave word to emperor darin of the death of his loyal follower, immediately he sent his finest advisors to look after his dead body and make sure it were taken care of during its long journey to the castle. Laying on the forge was a note from the elf saying that teh sword was to be given to lord Darin and Lord darin alone, and thus the Pionsa was placed in the possesion of the emperor. As the emperors powers progressed with the sword inhand, the powers of the sword also became enhanced. The very strength of darin was infused into the swords supersturcture, making it the most powerful sword weilded by the sindarin emperor. To this day the Pionsa remains in the control of Emperor Darin and continues to gain power as he does. |
