Soul's Touch
Chapter 1: The News

I ran and ran. I didn't understand where I was going, but I ran. I had to get away. I had to get away from them all. Tears brimmed on my tearless eyes. I never cried, and I wouldn't start now.

HE WAS DEAD!! Treize Khushrenada was dead. He was dead....dead........dead....killed....by a Gundam pilot!

Gundam Pilot.

I felt anger well up in me. How dare they!?!......I calmed down and stopped. This was not how I should react. After all, Lady Une was taking it worse than I was. Yes. She was takin' it much harder than me. Maybe. I smirked to myself. I would seek revenge for his death. Yes. I would do it for Lady Une and Mr. Treize. I laughed to myself.

....Looking around, I saw where my feet had taken me. Soul. I smirked. Yes. The Gundam Pilots would die. All of them.

They would pay for killing Treize and hurting Lady Une. They would pay for their crimes against the only two people to ever reach me...to ever produce emotions in me...I laughed to myself and jumped into Soul. Yes. They would pay...........

(3rd Person)

Lady Une and felt her heart break. He was dead. Treize was dead...and now....they had nothing to fight for....nothing at all......She had lost everything...well....almost everything. And she felt as if she was dead.

With an angry growl, she gave the order to surrender.....Soon after, Noin and Relena Peacecraft arrived to her side. The pilots worked to stop Lybra's decent towards Earth...and Milliardo Peacecraft died. Yes, today was a terrible day. But the war was over now. Over.

With a sigh, Lady Une turned to the nearest officer. "Please escort Miss. Lakeshore here."

The guard nodded and left.

"Miss. Lakeshore?" Relena asked.

Lady Une smiled softly. "She's a soldier.....a perfect soldier...trained to fight the Gundams. She was very fond of Mr. Treize. I think it would only be fair if I personally gave her the news--"

"Lady Une!" The officer returned. "She's missing. And so is Soul!"

"SHIT!" Was all the Lady could say and she turned to the controls. "Search for any signs of the Gundam....We have to find her before she does something drastic." She closed her eyes and felt tears well up in them. She reopened her eyes sadly. "She must have already found out...somehow....and.....and.....She's...."

"Lady Une....We can't detect Soul anywhere, but a carrier just left for space..."

"She was on that carrier......." Lady Une muttered under her breath.

"Lady Une." Relena's voice came towards her. "What is happening? What's wrong?"

Lady Une looked at the girl who had once ruled the entire world. "Psyche Lakeshore was....well.....She has disappeared and it is....our belief...that she is going to space..." At Relena's blank expression, Lady Une continued. "To kill the Gundam Pilots."

A gasp escaped Relena as she almost fainted at the thought..."Someone has to warn them!!" She gasped.

"We can't. The destruction of Lybra is disrupting communications with the pilots....And even if we did warn them, Psyche is trained to fight them...and she will defeat them.....somehow. She's even willing to die doing so....She's a perfect Soldier....."

"....Just like Heero...." Relena felt tears in her eyes and Noin, noticing the girls distress, escorted her out.

"Lady Une, try to warn them.....maybe...maybe you can talk some since into Psyche. I met her once......during her younger years of training...and....she looks up to you almost as much as she did Mr. Treize." Noin whispered and left.
