Treize Kushranada sat in his office looking over important reports. The last one rang the most important. In the Sank Kingdom raiders were attacking. Soldiers posed as raiders killing villagers and a deserter who didn't even know why he was fighting except that he was told. Apparently this warrior decided to come quietly but the ones who had witnessed his skill were too afraid to deal with him.

"Julia," he called his secretary when she appeared, "please have Captain Heero Yuy brought to my office. Dismissed."

In an hour and a half he had the young captain in front of him. He explained what he needed making sure not to forget anything, It's not that the captain was incompetent but he had orders that he needed followed completely.

"Captain Yuy I want you to go to the Sank Kingdom and collect a Zechs Merquise and welcome him to our army. He will work under your orders until you return. He is to stay with you and fight to keep the destroy as many raiders as you can. I will send a messenger ahead of the group that will relieve you. Also pack a uniform for him. My secretary has it. Dismiss."

"Hn," was all Heero said before he saluted and left. Treize signed and rubbed at his temples. A head was coming on. He had been having a lot of those these days.

Heero finished issuing out the orders to his men. He was a small group but fitting for their job. Wufei was an unbeatable swordsman and his steed Shenlong had a temper and a fight to match.

Triton was a tracker who was extremely good and throw in his job. His horse Heavy Arms was a quiet graceful stead to match but was large. Quatre with his high magic of which even though he was still learning was a valuable asset. His horse Sandrock was sweet tempered and was claim is any war situation. And last was Duo Maxwell, he was a confessor, he was lucky to be alive being the last know male of his kind. No, the last of his kind was gone too and to top it off Heero had to plead for his life which was hard. His shadow horse Shinigami was as fast and insane as he was.

They headed off the next day towards the Sank Kingdom. They made there way to the town of Quatre's birth which was on the way. Indigo Hills was a beautiful town named after the hills that were covered in Indigo flowers. It would take two days to get there so it would be no problem but it was two to three weeks to get to Sank.

"I can't wait to get to Indigo. I've only seen it once and it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen," Duo explained, he turned around to see the others and noticed Quatre's paleness.

"What wrong Quatre? You seem a little pale," he asked.

"I can't go there," he whimpered almost incoherent, "I can't"

"What's wrong," Trowa asked.

"I was born there. I can't go back. My f-father," he whimpered again.

"Here," Heero said handing his cloak to Quatre so that it would conceal his identity.

They arrived the next day at night. Against Quatre's will they decided to stay for two days. Wufei and Duo would often practice sword fighting behind the building so as to not scare anyone. The patience Wufei showed proved that he was destined to be a teacher. He never screamed at Duo unless he made extremely smart remarks about how Wufei treated his sword.
