"Morning Ami!" Usagi yelled as she walked in to class. 20 more minutes till class started. She was so tired, she could hardly believe that she was up and walking... She hated Luna for suggesting this whole plan.
"Good Morning Usagi, unlike you to be early." Ami said with an icy tone.
"Ami, well, about yesterday..... Oh, hi Hameiji. Uh, you’re early."
"I was here earlier, just went out for a walk. I like to come to school early, there’s always peace and quiet." Hameiji looked at her, and smiled. "You don’t usually come to school so early I see. You’re still holding your toast. Careful, it might get soggy, then it won’t taste good." She turned away and sat next to Ami, as both started to read.
Usagi looked around, she had to get Ami’s attention, maybe get Ami by herself. "Err, do you guys have some money, I need to buy something to drink. Ami, will you come with me?"
"Usagi, can’t you do something by yourself? You go to the cafeteria all the time. It’s practically your second home other then the game center." Ami said irritably.
Hameiji searched into her wallet, a picture slipped out. There were two little girls, with their parents. The two girls had long blue hair, one dark, aqua marine blue, and the other like snow, almost whitish blue. Hameiji quickly picked it up to hide it, but Usagi snatched it from her hand.
"That is such a cute picture, is one of them your sister? She looks like your twin or are they your cousins, they don’t really look like you. hmm... actually, they do look like you. Is one of them your twin?" Usagi asked.
"Perhaps." Hameiji replied.
"What....?"
"Here." As Ami hurriedly handed Usagi some money. "Actually, I think the cafeteria is opened now, I’ll go with you, since you want me to. Can you please hurry up? I don’t want to wait for you all the time." Usagi looked at Hameiji, but couldn’t catch her eye. When Usagi looked up, Ami had already gone, then she hurriedly caught up with Ami.
"Ami, do you think there is something wrong with Hameiji?"
"Unlike you Usagi, I’m not into gossip, but whatever it is that you are thinking, Hameiji is a great girl, and I like her a lot. I’m warning you, if you do anything to her, I’m on her side okay?"
"Urr... well, Ami, did you see that women in the photo really looks like your mum. Maybe you two are related, that’s why you two are so smart."
"I can’t stand this anymore, didn’t I just say that I don’t want to listen to anymore gossip. I’m tired of all your gossip. Why do you always have to gossip, it’s such a waste of time and it’s so irritating. I don’t care what you think about Hameiji, you can’t ruin what I think of her, because I know her for myself, first hand, not through what you think. Usagi, I want you get away from me and Hameiji. And I am telling you right now, whatever gossip you want to say about her, I’d better never hear it." Ami stopped to catch her breath as she turned on her heels and strolled towards the library.
Usagi looked at her, and bit her lip. Ami had definitely changed since Hameiji had announced her arrival. She had never seen Ami saying so much in one breath, and it wasn’t even about school work. Hameiji must be manipulating Ami, she had to be the new enemy behind all the trouble. And she was probably forcing Ami to give out the information, she had to be the creator of those new monsters.
Luna rolled her over, "Usagi, Minako and Makoto have called for help. We’ve got to go."
"What? Leave me alone Luna, go away." Usagi groaned.
"Something has happened, we have to go and help the others. Usagi, let’s go! Now, wake up! We have to help them."
When they finally arrived, they saw everyone busy, but Ami was missing. "Guys, where is Mercury?" They shook their heads, and continued to fight. "In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" Usagi yelled and attacked. Nothing happened, except a big hole in the building behind the monster.
The monster laughed and grumbled, "Sailor-moon, if you want to destroy me, you need more than that. I know everything there is to know about you." Usagi turned in shock in the familiarity of the line that she had just heard. The monster raised his arm, suddenly Usagi felt trapped, and saw herself bounded to the floor by a gooey material. She turned her head, and saw the others covered by a similar whitish blue mess. Tuxedo Mask had also arrived in time to be covered. Somehow it reminded her of Hameiji’s hair color.
Rei’s anger flared. "I’ll never forgive you for this! You manipulating and using an innocent girl like Ami, let her go!" The other scouts stared at her in shock, Rei had already concluded that Ami was on the other side.
Suddenly a light shone from in front of them. Sailor-mercury appeared out of nowhere, with another lady. She was dressed in a light blue dress with a fur draped on her shoulders. She looked very elegant. Mercury also had a similar fur draped on her shoulders over her Scout uniform "In the name of Wisdom, I will punish you!" They heard Mercury said. Mercury looked at the monster, "You have acted against my wishes, and now you will be destroyed!"
"Mercury!" Ami looked at Usagi and turned away. Ami raised her hands and attacked her Shabon Spray. The monster blocked it, and laughed. "Mercury, the monster is too strong! Be careful! Get away, you are too weak!" Usagi yelled.
Ami turned and glared at her, her eyes showed no emotion, no recognition of Usagi. Then suddenly, anger flared from her eyes, "I’m not weak." Ami raised a fist above her head and closed her eyes, suddenly the monster was thrown back and it screamed in pain. Usagi’s mouth flew open, and looked at the others. The others had also seen it in disbelief.
The lady looked at her and smiled. "I am the Snow Princess, together we will kill this monster. Sailor-moon, you are powerful, but unlike me and Sailor-mercury, we will never destroy anything that does not need to be harmed." Mercury raised a wand from nowhere and whispered a few words, the monster immediately turned into ice. The Snow Princess turned away, the ice shattered, and the monster disappeared.
"I created it, and I will destroy it when it disobeys me." They heard Mercury whisper. "I gave you no permission to do this." The light on Mercury and the Snow Princess was gone, the rest of the Senshi felt the goo evaporate. Then, when they looked back up, the two had already vanished into the mist.
"I don’t think that Ami is on our side anymore." Luna sighed.
"But she saved us..."
"We have to erase her memory, it’s too dangerous for us if she does leak out the information."
"It’s impossible, she wouldn’t betray her friends!"
"We might not be her friends anymore though." Rei said. The Senshi turned to Rei and Luna, hardly understanding why they thought like this. "We might be her enemy now..."
