Aeka claims that she travelled to earth to find her love. However, when the love tells her that she can go for somebody else, she goes for somebody else. If she travels such a long journey for him, why would she give up her love after she finds him? This might be another way to add more girls to the list of who loves Tenchi so that the audience can drool enviously at how fortunate he is.
Usually, in works, we see the contrast between technology and nature or the price that technology made nature pay. However, in Tenchi Muyo, nature and technology coexist in harmony. I.e. nature and technology work together.
